Happy Birthday To our very special boy Red 6 years ago, Red was rescued by his current owner from a property up in the Blue Mountains where he had lived for 14 years. He'd had a really tough life; surviving the cold winters without shelter and filling his tummy with whatever grew on the property. After repeatedly offering to take Red on, the owners finally agreed when they sold the property. ... We've managed to delve into his past a little by his Standardbred branding. Red's racing name was 'Loves A Dare', he had 95 starts with 14 wins and he was born on the 1st September 1990 making him 30 years old today! For those who have met Red, as he wanders around Cross Park nibbling on the lawns. He is the sweetest and most polite gentleman you will ever meet.
