25.01.2022 How you use Flex-Hones & work out what size you need

21.01.2022 Stacking 2 helicoils together to make a longer thread. This is quite OK to do but you may have trouble breaking off the tang in the middle of the hole. To prevent dislodging the wire from its thread track best method is to grip the tang with long nose pliers and use a very gentle up and down motion [patience required] till the tang breaks off. A close fitting punch and a sharp downward tap also works well.

16.01.2022 200 times stronger than steel; the best electrical conductor known; more flexible than a spider's web; harder than diamond; impermeable to gases and liquids etc. etc.!! Yes - this is GRAPHENE "THE" SUPER SUBSTANCE. And . . . at last, 12 years after its invention an Aussie firm has finally succeeded in commercially producing it. What does the future not hold with lighter stronger aircraft, faster electronics etc. etc. And Just what is it? It's just another manipulation of that one miracle atom Carbon.

10.01.2022 Here’s an amazing new surface finish you can’t beat with the best drills! Heard of TLC this is DLC diamond like carbon it’s really a thin layer of diamond deposited onto tools and machine parts to make them long wearing and to reduce friction. Great for extending machine or tool life but the only way to drill or machine it is with actual diamond tooling. But when you need to drill other real hard stuff - you need: Diamohard Disintegrator Drills - The Magic tools that drill almost anything hard [except DLC!]

03.01.2022 Common Question: What do I use to hone a Nikasil two stroke engine bore? Answer: For Nikasil bores use a Flex-Hone. The abrasive recommended is 240 grit Aluminum Oxide and in a 2 stroke, the best results are obtained by rotating the Flex-Hone clockwise then anticlockwise for about the same length of time either way.
