24.01.2022 As we behold our God Father, Son and Spirit we lift our voices to sing, "Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three persons, Blessed Trinity!" Catch up on last week's sermon, "Behold, the Triune God" at: https://spoti.fi/3nMlK2A. #hereatcrossandcrown #beholdyourgod

19.01.2022 What's happening with church over the next 3 weeks? This and next Sunday, you can join church as an outdoor microgroup or an expanded housegroup that's up to 2 visitors and they can be from different households. And then, on 29 November, indoor microgroups are back! You'll be able to have up to 10 visitors to your home to join church together.... While that's all happening, our Regathering Team is hard at work to make sure we can swiftly and safely regather on-site. The safest place to be is where God's word is preached. #hereatcrossandcrown #everytribe #lifetogether 15 & 22 November - Outdoor Microgroup: Up to 10 people in a public outdoor location - Expanded Housegroup: Up to 2 visitors from the same or different households From 29 November - Indoor Microgroup: Up to 10 visitors to your home

18.01.2022 As our city takes its first steps out of lockdown, here are three ways you can join church starting this week. 1. Outdoor Microgroup: Gather with up to 10 people in a public outdoor location to livestream the service together and go out for dinner after! It's a great opportunity to reconnect with each other and invite your non-Christian friends. 2. Indoor Housegroup: Gather with up to 2 people from just 1 other household in your home to livestream the service and share a meal... together. It's the ideal way to care for particular people and go deep with a few. 3. Indoor Individual: Continue to livestream the service by yourself from your home as you've been doing over the last few months. Do this if you have health concerns or live with vulnerable people. After months of being apart, it's never been more important to be together - even if it's just with a few. As our city takes its first steps out of lockdown, let's take our first steps towards regathering as the people of God.

14.01.2022 "The fundamental reality in heaven and earth is the love that God the Father has for his Son" (Andrew Moody). In our first annual doctrine series, we behold our God: Father, Son and Spirit. Over six weeks, we'll see how the Trinity sits at the heart of creation, revelation and salvation, and discover how it deepens our love, shapes our prayers and energises our mission in the world.... "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all" (2 Cor 13:13). #hereatcrossandcrown #beholdyourgod

13.01.2022 As we wrap up our first annual doctrine series, we're hosting an Ask Me Anything: Trinity Edition tomorrow at 7.30pm over Zoom at: www.crossandcrown.org.au/ama. Andrew Moody will answer our questions and help us think more deeply about the Father's love for the Son. Andrew is the Editorial Director of TGC Australia and author of "In Light of the Son" and "The Will of Him Who Sent Me". He and his wife Jenny have two children and attend our partner church, Holy Trinity Doncaste...r. You can listen to our entire sermon series, "Behold Your God: Father, Son and Spirit" at: https://spoti.fi/35vYyOX. #hereatcrossandcrown #beholdyourgod #askmeanything

05.01.2022 For the first time in eight months, our church gathered in various outdoor microgroups indoor housegroups and individually online In the gospel, God has brought us into a fellowship of eternal selfless love. And the love within God is now the love that's shared among us. Praise God as we begin to step out of lockdown and physically regather as his people. The safest place to be is where God's word is preached.... #hereatcrossandcrown #lifetogether

03.01.2022 Yesterday, we begun preparations to meet physically back on-site, while our church continued to gather as outdoor microgroups and indoor housegroups From this Sunday, indoor housegroups will be expanded to include two visitors from any household So seize the opportunity! This moment will pass and soon we will be together again just as God would have us. The safest place to be is where God's word is preached.... #hereatcrossandcrown #lifetogether
