23.01.2022 Thanks to all the Sisyphus crew who donated to Liv and her brave cause. She raised over $5500, and now looks like G.I Jane. As an uncle watching her big heart couldn’t say how proud enough I am of her. Liv decided that she would like to shave her head to raise much needed funds for brain cancer research in conjunction with the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Liv was inspired to undertake this very brave challenge in memory of her cousin Cooper. Liv only got the chance to meet Cooper once as he passed away before he could turn three, but my Sister and their family speak of Cooper with the girls regularly and Liv wanted to do everything she could to ensure no other child or family have to go through what Cooper and his family did. 22.01.2022 Here we go for another week. Today you can get onto Glofox and book into our inaugural Exploding Kittens tournament. This week we are continuing our theme of alternating muscle up variations each week and continuing to work some base strength in with our conditioning WODs. I know some of you rest Thursday’s but we are flipping the tough cardio WOD from two weeks ago on its head and seeing how it compares. Sunday WOD at the beach if people are keen. 20.01.2022 Sunday session we are going to meet at the Mooloolaba Spit BBQ area at 7:30 to head down for the beach work out. Barbie hangouts and coffee afterward at your discretion.
20.01.2022 This week we are continuing our dedication to the gymnastics pieces that everyone wants : muscle ups and handstand walks and to the ones everyone needs : strict pull ups, push ups and air squats. We are trying a twist on our favourite strength complex and using complexes in our Olympic lifting for the week. Can’t wait to see you in here. @ CrossFit Sisyphus
17.01.2022 First non exercise related social event at the box was a hit! Thanks to everyone who came along and congratulations to @belindahiggs who narrowly nudged out the extremely consistent @dalekendall70 for the title of exploding kittens champion.

10.01.2022 Beyond the whiteboard is included in your direct debit membership and has a number of simple well structured programs that are 20 session long to progress you toward a specific goal. We have open gym between 7 and 9:30 and 10:30 to 12. This is a great opportunity to chase those extras. Please don’t leave your extras setup gear out or interrupt the running of the class to make it happen.

08.01.2022 Another week with some good workouts. Do me a favour, have a look at the workouts and set yourself a goal on each one you choose to attend. Please sign in so we know when one coach can get some rest and please turn up 5 minutes early, so that we can start on time. It is a big deal. Some of you are regularly late. If you are regularly late I want you to realise that it sends a message that you don’t value our time or that of the people you are working out with. Don’t apologise just get organised. Sometimes life gets in the way and you are late, totally cool please still come in and we will get you going without disrupting everyone else.Let me reiterate, it is ok to be late it is not ok to always be late.
