23.01.2022 Like in the 2nd Matrix movie, The problem is choice. In this blessed country of ours we could make all kinds of choices. Some of us don’t have as many options, sometimes the choice is made for us. But when you DO have the choice, around what you eat, to work out, to what example you set. Well, when you DO have those choices in front of you there’s usually two paths. The path you know you should take, and then the easier path. In the early days those might be very opposed. T...hen as you build your discipline with small daily choices the more disciplined path WILL BECOME the easier path as you shake off the temptation of your old ways. The first time Beth and me met, we chatted before she walked out the door and we BOTH thought we’d never see each other again. Days later we spoke again. That was almost two years ago. From her first choice of YES, I will do this to her now easy daily choices of coming in to the gym, it’s amazing to see what small doses of daily discipline can accomplish. Through sore muscles and daily struggles, Beth is an inspiration to me and others. Keep fighting, keep inspiring.

03.01.2022 Good guy Frank dinged his wrist a few weeks ago. Solution? Become WAY stronger in the squatting moves. Here he's already back to being able to hold a front squat, but even that took a few weeks. Everyone has "stuff" going on. Stuff ALWAYS comes up, schedule, work, Netflix, whatever. There will ALWAYS be something trying to jack your time. For example, right now you're scrolling on the internet But try to look at the situation and do what you can. Step around your excuses (...they aren't reasons) and make it work. If you can't make it in to the gym today that doesn't have to mean day-off, you could run for 30 minutes, doing 5 burpees every minute. You do a 21min EMOM of max air squats/max push ups/rest. You could do hollow rocks every commercial break. You could push-press your baby. You could quit your job and hang out at the gym all day (Beth).
