22.01.2022 I love this quote so much! It’s so fitting in so many aspects of life. In relation to health and fitness a simple example is choosing to change your attitude and thoughts about doing exercises you do not love. . For example - instead of saying oh I’m not a good runner, I really don’t like it say something like I’m going to work on my running today. A simple change in the phrase can change the impact it can have. Being happy/positive is a choice. There are obvious reasons.../circumstances that makes it harder to remain happy or positive. It is something you have to practise. Practise seeing the good or looking for the positive in situations. Sometimes it’s harder and not as easy to recognise, but there is always SOMETHING. 04.01.2022 CFLM WOD for today- give it a crack!! . 5 rounds 1:1 with a partner 6 burpee box overs 4 kB front rack step ups (24/16)... 15 unbroken wall balls (heavier and higher than usual if capable) 8 kB front rack step ups. . The intent on this workout is work/rest intervals. Each movement is relatively short so the focus is the keep them unbroken and your transitions fast. . The KB front rack step ups are incredibly humbling. If you’ve never done them, DO them. You need them in your life. . Gab @gab.pace and I both scaled this workout. This is so the INTENT of the workout could be achieved. . Training with intent AND intensity is key when it comes to getting results. Regardless of WHY you need to scale the workout, there is NOTHING WRONG with scaling. Nobody cares or judges you for scaling. If anything, it’s the polar opposite. People are more likely to ask why you didn’t you scale, If you don’t end up getting the intended intensity and stimulus of the workout. . If you’re somebody who is struggling to get stronger and fitter its potentially because you’re not lifting HEAVY enough when doing strength work and going TOO heavy when doing workouts. #crossfit #trainwithintent #intensity #scaled #rx #earnit #crossfit #cflm #crossfitlowermountains
