15.01.2022 What a cracker day on the new St Helens Trail - BOF. Shuttles with Mad MTB and rented an EBike as recommended by Dawn @ Mad, from Matt @ Giant St Helens. Perfect MTB for this experience. Loved it and will be back thanks to all xxx

14.01.2022 FYI Guests staying @ Crosskeys Derby the local Branxholm Pool will be unmanned / no life guard etc so you swim at your own risk Triple 000 is emergency number ... there is a defib at the IGA across road if its needed Branxholm Pool is now heated with solar on the roof thanks to Dorset Council & Progress Association Inc ....Bbq in the shelter shed for people to use as well Wed and Frid 2pm to 6pm Saturday and Sunday 1pm to 6pm

05.01.2022 As of Monday, the Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails were reopened for local daily usage (within 30km of primary residence) which is fantastic, so it is the perfec...t time for reminders to users. The trails have been constructed specifically for mountain bikes and we love that lots of people use the trails to get their daily walk in - which is allowed. However, of late, especially on the new Valley Pond link trail between Branxholm and Derby, motorbikes and particularly horses have been seen using the trails. Not only does riding motorbikes and horses damage the hard work that the Blue Derby Trail Crew do to keep the trails in world class condition, but its potentially dangerous for those using the trails for their intended use - riding a mountain bike. Let's keep the trails in the best condition they can be, so everyone can enjoy them!
