25.01.2022 Bit of a misty start today, at least the rain has stopped
24.01.2022 No greater way to start the year than being part of this amazing experience. Teen Summer Camp 2020 - The place where I witnessed young leaders step up and make ...decisions to follow Christ and become ambassadors for Him. Thanks @saraystojanovic for editing the shot of me . #daretobe #thoughtsonministry @ Crossland Youth Convention Centre See more
24.01.2022 Due to a cancellation our Kent Lodge facility is now available for Easter weekend. Kent Lodge is a fully self contained Air Conditioned 40 bed building. 23.01.2022 Starting to make progress. Thanks to Cheonneth Strickland and Zac and the young man who I didn't see for your efforts today. Nature is so much bigger than man.... Thank you to Beryl Landers & Nerise Fehlberg for your visit and support. Thanks to those who are rallying up help. One of my last emails tonight was from the coordinator of the Christian Reform Church Youth with an offer to come and help Bruce and I if we needed them. These were the youth we evacuated on Sunday, who already stopped on the hill climb on the way out to help Chris take the chopped tree limbs off the road in the thick of the storm. See more
23.01.2022 What a day... Flood No.3, worse one yet, but its not over as another King tide tomorrow again and rain predicted all week. What a mess, its so discouraging, just last week we put straw on all the gardens and mowed all the grass etc. Watching things like picnic tables, wheelie bins, car park wheel stops etc. floating out to sea. It actually got about half a meter deeper than in the photos but too busy to stop n take any more. Apart from the mess and carnage from the water there are massive trees down, one over the power line again and destroyed the tennis court net. No Power since about 11am???

22.01.2022 Start to another beautiful day at Crosslands
20.01.2022 The dangerous tree is down. Yea!
20.01.2022 Erected a flood marker board yesterday going back as far as 1986. Thanks to the Scouts property where I transferred the info from. Wow 3 floods in 1988 Feb April and July I can't even begin to imagine dealing with that. The April 88 flood level on our Oval was 1.85m The flood Feb this year was 1.41m that's up to Maxines neck. From these measurements there doesn't seem to be any pattern of time of the year. Basically it would appear we can bit hit any time.
17.01.2022 Dare I say it. Disaster is not always disastrous It has a way of showing the God in people. It brings people together who might not otherwise come together. I...t challenges you to find the good in your circumstances. It sometimes forces you to let go and let God. And often is an opportunity for God to open your eyes to the smallest of blessings. Thank you for offers of help. Thank you for your prayers See more
17.01.2022 A birds guidance system is broken and now so is our windows.
17.01.2022 Dead tree branches wrecked the roof yesterday so repairs were on the list for today.
17.01.2022 Old LPG tank 4 cutting discs some old pipe and a welder and Walla... 2 new fire pits. Yes I filled the tank with water before I cut into it... Although going into orbit does sound fun.
17.01.2022 Do as much as we can with what we have of the new giant swing and tree top activity.
16.01.2022 The rain has stopped... at least for a while. The river is not its usual clear self but at least its still inside its banks where it's meant to be.
15.01.2022 Help! A few days back I tore a muscle in my arm. The doctor said I am meant to rest it but that's a bit hard with so many things to do. At the moment we are trying to improve the look of the water front. I have loaded the trailer using the Bobcat with rock but now I need to get them off and place them along the bank. With only Maxine and I here... Maxine is pretty tough but she is too little and I'm partially broken so if there is a couple of young fellas with big muscles that have a spare couple of hour that would be greatly appreciated.
15.01.2022 Never a dull moment at Crosslands. Yesterday I started chopping up and clearing a tree that fell during the rain on the weekend, finished this morning and cleaned up the site ready for the group to arrive at 2:30pm then Maxine calls to say another large tree has fallen on the access road so I get the chain saw etc. and go up to clear it only to find superwoman has done a good chunk of it already.
15.01.2022 Found a new Summer Camp Activity. https://www.facebook.com/redneckswithpa//1116651378706607/

14.01.2022 But God's forgiveness is worthless unless you receive it by faith - and then forgive yourself! You say, 'But what about my past?' The moment you receive God's forgiveness you no longer have a past - you only have a future.
13.01.2022 You'll get this at Crosslands Many are the ways in which God is seeking to make Himself known to us and bring us into communion with Him. Nature speaks to our... senses without ceasing. The open heart will be impressed with the love and glory of God as revealed through the works of His hands. The listening ear can hear and understand the communications of God through the things of nature. The green fields, the lofty trees, the buds and flowers, the passing cloud, the falling rain, the babbling brook, the glories of the heavens, speak to our hearts, and invite us to become acquainted with Him who made them all. Our Saviour bound up His precious lessons with the things of nature. The trees, the birds, the flowers of the valleys, the hills, the lakes, and the beautiful heavens, as well as the incidents and surroundings of daily life, were all linked with the words of truth, that His lessons might thus be often recalled to mind, even amid the busy cares of man's life of toil. God would have His children appreciate His works and delight in the simple, quiet beauty with which He has adorned our earthly home. He is a lover of the beautiful, and above all that is outwardly attractive He loves beauty of character; He would have us cultivate purity and simplicity, the quiet graces of the flowers. If we will but listen, God's created works will teach us precious lessons of obedience and trust. From the stars that in their trackless courses through space follow from age to age their appointed path, down to the minutest atom, the things of nature obey the Creator's will. And God cares for everything and sustains everything that He has created. He who upholds the unnumbered worlds throughout immensity, at the same time cares for the wants of the little brown sparrow that sings its humble song without fear. When men go forth to their daily toil, as when they engage in prayer; when they lie down at night, and when they rise in the morning; when the rich man feasts in his palace, or when the poor man gathers his children about the scanty board, each is tenderly watched by the heavenly Father. No tears are shed that God does not notice. There is no smile that He does not mark. See more

12.01.2022 Virtually all product comes with an instruction manual. There is a machine that is probably the most complex piece of equipment on the planet and the Manufactur...er gave clear instruction on its operation. Heres what the Owners Manual says 1. Do not operate during the hours of darkness. i.e. You must switch the machine off at night. 2. In order for smooth operation the machine must have its systems charged by regular exposure to Solar energy. 3. In order for the system to function correctly you must fill with at least 2 litres of clean H2O every day. Failure to do so will result in wear and parts failing. 4. Use only the Manufacturer's fuel. Failure to strictly adhere to this Instruction will result in system malfunction. 5. Keep the air filter clean by only operating in clean fresh air. 6. Stay connected to the Manufacturer by Regularly uploading data and receiving any new program updates to ensure continuous smooth operation. Failure to do this will result in glitchy operation or even total system lock up. 7. Regularly run the Machine at higher than normal operating speed. This aids in keeping the lubrication system operating efficiently. 8. This is vitally Important you must program after 6 continuous days of operation the following every 7th Day the machine needs to run at idle speed or even turned off for 24hrs for it to recover for normal operation. WARNING if this instruction is not closely followed, the Manufacturer's Warranty becomes Void and you run the risk of the equipment malfunctioning or even catastrophic failure.

07.01.2022 This is what summer camps are all about. I am bursting with joy right now. On Saturday 7/3/20,, my youngest son Aaron was baptised. At Camp he had a supernatural, miraculous experience with the Holy Spirit. He is a changed boy, and something for us as parents was completely unexpected. With tears rolling down his cheeks, after nighttime worship I asked him if he was ok? Aarons response was, dad I think Ive just meet Jesus and I want to be baptised. Wow! He spoke at his bapt...ism without notes straight from his heart, many were impressed. His experience cannot be scripted, taught, encouraged, forced, pressured etc, but was a gift from God, in the purest sense. Do you hear what these children are saying? they asked him. Yes, replied Jesus, have you never read, From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise? Matthew 21:16 NIV https://www.bible.com/111/mat.21.16.niv Thank you to all the leaders and volunteers, Pr Eddie Hypolite, Pr Simon Gigliotti, Pr Phil Yates, Pr Craig Vanus, the band, Matt Jack, Ashley Carrasco, Jasmine Carrasco, the drama team, Pr Bernard Deojee (Beez), Counsellors and audio sound team, MECC pathfinders, MVAC, all contributed and played a part in Aaron Abletts encounter with Jesus , wow, so real, so true.

04.01.2022 Generator power since Sunday. Still no water yet. Road has moved with all the rain and cracked the 50mm copper pipe running under the road dumping all 50 thousand litres into the ground. River bed has dramasticly changed dumping 100s of tonnes of sand where its not needed.
03.01.2022 Can you help with any of these things?
