20.01.2022 OPTIMISTIC POST As we scroll through the ‘gram, we are flooded with images of sorrow, anger and grief. Without doubt, now is the time to feel it and support those who need it. We aren’t political here at CrowdPop, but this clearly goes beyond politics, ideologies and systems, this is a human issue.... We sat with this for a few days, and it made us think when the dust settles, what is on the flipside? Where will all this take us? And for the answer, we had to look behind us, take a peek into yesteryear. What are the chances this is exactly how it felt in the 1960s? The rage against racism, the feeling that it’s the 20th century and we should know better. The certain mindset of older generations is being replaced by a fresh, peace-loving, arcadian perspective of young people. They are *literally* the future. And that’s where our hope and optimism lie if history is anything to go by, then we can be sure the world will be a more inclusive, peaceful place, where everyone can breathe.

We’re planning a bigger and better launch when venues reopen their doors. ..... Guys, can we talk about my app for a sec?... Early this morning I may have given my own self a high 5. I may or may not have taken a victory lap around my own lounge room. Either way, I’m excited, gobsmacked even, that this thing which forever was just a mere idea, lingering in my head, persistently pushing me to bring it to live, actually has! She’s not perfect, she’s not mighty (yet), but she’s certainly on the way to dressing up in style and entering the app party scene with confidence. I truly, with all my heart, believe that this will become a valuable tool, which will own its rightful place somewhere in the first 2 pages of your home screens. Those who are also battling in small business land will know how important the big reach social posts are. We pray for them. We need them. Therefore, I humbly ask of those who are interested, to like the page, click away, engage with the posts, share and allow the brilliant algorithm to do its thing. Promise this is not some pyramid scheme that we all love to hate, and I will not bore you with any spam. Take care out there!
