01.01.2022 Two weeks from now, we'll be on the road to Yeppoon. Some of us will meet for the first time in the car, others we'll meet when we walk in. We'll get settled with a drink in hand and a conversation or two. Slowly, we'll put down the burden of business as usual and start to feel a little bit human. We'll get together to hear about the format of the weekend. We'll meet our small groups - the pack that will be the touchpoint throughout the whole unconference. People will come up... with sessions and announce them to the crowd and on a post it note. The sessions will be shuffled and shuffled again. We'll laugh at some great titles and say "that's what she's doing too!" and sessions might combine. We'll go to sleep smiling and full and with some space from usual life. Over two days, we'll learn things we couldn't possibly learn in the hustle of usual life. We'll have insights we couldn't dream of orchestrating among the trees of day-to-day. We'll develop friendships we didn't know we needed and we'll smile more than we thought we could. We'll go home better connected, more knowledgeable, and with a view of the forest instead of the trees. And it all started with getting a ticket.
