23.01.2022 We have some hard working, dedicated young people here in the Monaro. Last week I met 19 year old Jessica Soper-Threadgate, a young woman from Cooma who has ta...ken on a new opportunity as a fitter and turner apprentice at Crowe Engineering. An apprenticeship was not on Jessica's radar, but through the NSW Government's Regional VET Pathways program, Jessica was linked up with Crowe Engineering and she describes it as a match made in heaven. It was great to hear Jess's story and have a look at some of her work.

21.01.2022 We would like to thank our customers for the support over the past year. All the staff wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are closing over the Christmas period. Our last day of trading is Thursday the 21st of December and we will return back to work on Monday the 8th of January.

21.01.2022 Finding people with the right skills and even finding someone who wants to obtain skills through an apprenticeship is incredibly difficult, the majority of the population believe that Uni is the way to go and it appears to me for many years that there has been a push for school leavers to go to Uni and that to become a tradesman was not a respected or viable career. How far from the truth could they have been but we hope at last the Government is waking up and things may turn around. "Go the Tradies".

07.01.2022 Happy new year to all our customers and suppliers. Today we completed the construction of a cover for the BBQ area at the Berridale Lion’s Park. This has been complimented by the construction of the new children’s Park. Looking good Berridale.
