Dr. Abrar Chowdhury (Podiatrist) After graduating in 2014, I spent my first year working at Feet First Podiatry, one of Sydney’s oldest and most well-known Podiatry clinics. Here, I was lucky enough to work alongside podiatrists from all over the world, picking up different perspectives from each. I gained experience in the latest treatment modalities, including Shock wave Therapy, Laser Anti-Fungal Therapy and Digital Gait Analysis. From 2016 until June 2020, I worked for Dimple, Australia’s largest mobile podiatry company for Residential Aged Care Facilities. Together with nursing home staff, we strove to keep residents on their feet and as active as possible to improve their quality of life. I began working for myself in October 2016, operating out of two medical centres in Sydney’s Western Suburbs, and since then expanding to a further three. I am committed to a holistic view of lower limb health, using the latest evidence-based medicine. I believe in improving health on a population level, with a particular interest in diabetes, which is on the rise in Western Sydney. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE We now offer ALL patients telephone consultations. Face to face consults may still be offered ONLY after discussion with the doctor. Approved face to face consults will follow strict adherence to social distancing in the waiting room, and our doctors and nurses will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment. We will continue to provide routine childhood immunisations. Note that Mental Health Care Plans and Chronic Disease management can now also be performed via Telehealth consultation.
