23.01.2022 Terrible 'taches continue to be a theme at the Rebs - with this effort from season debutant Jason Johnston right up there. That said, he's quick and a nightmare in the nets so if you know what's good for you and want to support men's health through Movember Australia, chuck this weapon a generous donation. #Movember

22.01.2022 Do you like your beverages cold? Do you like to look stylish while downing it? Do you want people to know you support a group of grown men who see fit to waste 50 per cent of their weekend playing cricket, just to avoid staying at home with the missus? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then we have just the product for you! CNRCC stubby holders, now on sale for $5. It's what you get the person who has everything that you don't really like. Slide into our DMs to reserve your piece of this very limited run.* *Currently filling most of the treasurer's car boot, help a brother out and buy several.

22.01.2022 Formula 1? CANCELLED. One dayer at the SCG? CLOSED. NBA? Postponed. NRL? Hahahahahahaha. The only place to be this weekend to feed your appetite for world-class* entertainment is Gore Creek Oval from 1pm to watch our D1 team in a David vs Goliath battle against Chatswood Gypsies Cricket Club. While some of our players could definitely give you a disease, we can guarantee it's not #COVID19. In fact, anyone that brings any form of corona, virus or beverage - will be subject to isolation. *think slapstick, not quality

22.01.2022 We're back in the swing of things at the Rebs. Great to see @vibvyas01 setting the standards during #preseason. No, this is not the result of #sprints but an 8am knock off from a night on the lash watching the #EPL. To top it all off, Vib's team was belted 7-2. A sensational effort so early in the piece from the star-batsman-turned-opening-bowler #parkcricketsydney #eliteareas

22.01.2022 A very tidy performance from C1's Seb Camus, claiming 5/18 from seven overs as they romped home to victory over Chatswood Gypsies. Congrats also to Hugo Klimt on his maiden 50 for the Rebs in the same game. D1 clearly with work to do in the milestones department... Join both our sides for our Christmas Party this Saturday evening at Primrose. Lets hope we're celebrating a couple of big wins!

21.01.2022 When you realise there's only one day left of winter, meaning cricket season is just around the corner Want to play social cricket of Sydney's north shore? No ability required but a sense of humour is essential. Send us a message for more info!

17.01.2022 Saturday's weather was ordinary, but still not as bad as this haircut, or the skills of the barber... For those not aware, this is what happens when England draw the World Cup, twice. Well played Train and Dec. We're back this Saturday for more debauchery. Round 2 sees D1 at Naremburn Lower, while C1 make their second journey to West Epping Oval.

17.01.2022 Big Daddy Brenton gets it done with a marvelous 83. Glad to see he applied his PT skills to Gumbo with lots of quick singles too... Join our teams this week as C1 take on Neutral Bay Jets and D1 clash with top four rival Kirribilli. Finals are coming and both teams are well and truly in the hunt!

17.01.2022 Looking to join the Rebs? Come along to our pre-season meet and greet, have a net, beer and a snag and see if we'd be a good fit for you.

16.01.2022 Want to watch Australia roll India this Sunday? Fancy spending a day doing it with the Rebs? Are you game enough to sit next to G-Train on a 33 degree day while jamming plastic cups of mid-strength beer? If so, let us know or contact Danish. $106 for an adult ticket Bay 311.

15.01.2022 We've been struggling to come up with a nickname for Brenton Whale; we've tried Moby, Killer, the Frenchman - but after this weekend's performance I reckon we pluck for "God". His match winning innings was as close to us being blessed as we are ever going to get. The almighty one carefully crafted his innings with just the right amount of destruction toward the end. To top that off, he bowled six overs, for three maidens with the very tidy figures of 1-5. The only reason he didn't get his seventh is our West Australian captain cannot count... Also, congrats to C1 player Harley Wijeyaratne on his maiden half century for the club, posting 63* as his side fell just short of the win.

14.01.2022 0/10. Needed more schooners.

14.01.2022 Strap yourselves in, its Christmas with a Rebels flavour from 5.30pm tomorrow evening. Pop by for a snag and a beer and celebrate the fact we don't have to see each other for three weeks.

14.01.2022 Looking to play some social cricket on Sydney's north shore this summer? Crows Nest Rebels Cricket Club is looking for players! No playing experience is necessary, but a sense of humour is essential. We have players from across the country and the globe, so whether you want to learn to play the game or make a bunch of new mates, the Rebs could be the club for you. For more info, send us a message on Facebook.

13.01.2022 Our love to the extended Rebels community at this very strange time. It doesn't feel like too long ago we were overcrowding the slip cordon, sharing all forms of protective equipment and spitting on a two-piece and throwing it back and forth to each other in between collecting it from a creek/bushland. If you need any help, please sing out. Can't wait to see you all back on the circuit come October

10.01.2022 Well done to our C1 skipper Ollie Clarke on his first ever ton on the weekend. Ollie racked up 11 fours and six sixes during his knock of 105*, guiding his team to its first ever win. To complete a hattrick of firsts, this is also the first time the Club has run a picture from Snapchat. Talk about changing of the guard...

10.01.2022 A year to the day since G-Train turned barber for the day and Declan learned not to make bets involving the English cricket team. This is all after the season launch the night before the first game resulted in the rain card being played... Needless to say decision making is not the Club;s strong-suit. Remember, we are back in action on Saturday October 24 - location and oppo TBC, so why not pop down for a beer?

10.01.2022 It's coming... Join us on Saturday for #TheWorldsWorstShave

08.01.2022 We'd like to wish all our players, supporters, families and opposition a very merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year. Our gift to you is this video of our skipper showing his true colours after last week's boat race #meow

06.01.2022 How good was this legend's 136* on Saturday for D1?! There were 12 fours and eight sixes in his 90 ball ton at Fortress Primrose. We won't mention the fact he was dropped on a duck though congrats @brenton_whale, you supreme being you. #bigdaddy #lovesaton #sydneycricket #parkcricket

06.01.2022 Can anyone help the Rebels out? Benny is looking to find a respectful new home for his Chinese silk dressing gown. Naturally the Club is interested in said gown, with the plan of adopting it as the D1 captain's blazer. Not only will it be worn at all tosses during the 2019/20 season, but it'll also double as a barber's cape when skip gets the chop in Round 1. Dec remains unconvinced, but as always, peer pressure can change that. That's why we're asking you, should we enshrine the Captain's Robe in our constitution?

05.01.2022 He might wear Birkenstocks, drink craft beer and be from Queensland - but we think David Stephenson goes alright. He claimed 6/7 in our 9 wicket win over North Shore on the weekend. Nice work Stevo, no doubt you'll celebrate with a hoppy number at a gig in Newtown #HipstersCanPlay

04.01.2022 Esteemed Rebs and family, further to the cancellation of today's game and given the latest government advice around non-essential activities and gatherings, we have unfortunately made the tough decision to cancel tonight's Christmas party. Apologies for the short notice, but we are committed to keeping not just our club but our community safe. Stay safe and well, have a merry Christmas and hopefully we can all catch up soon.

04.01.2022 At a loose end this Saturday? Keen for a bit of hit and giggle? Our D1 team is chasing two players to turn out in the final round of the regular season. While there is no guarantee of play thanks to the weather, we can guarantee beers and advice on how to pimp your Tinder from Stevo. Interested? Send us a message or contact Declan on 0433 533 870.

03.01.2022 Not the end of the season we were after with match abandoned in the Semi Final, but thanks to all the players who donned the black and gold in our fifth season and congratulations to the Chatswood Gypsies (White) on heading to the big dance. Not a bad start so far for the Rebels though. 5 years.... 3 finals series. 1 Grand Final. A huge future.

01.01.2022 He's no longer in Sydney, but Benny Hall will always be a Rebel. This year has been pretty tough for all of us, but luckily we can all play a part in improving men's health by chipping in some cash as part of Movember Australia. His 'tash may resemble his leg side half tracker that gets pumped for eight, and he may look like someone who owns a suspicious white van - but his efforts certainly deserve a little bit of your hard-earned. #Movember

01.01.2022 Keen for a game of cricket tomorrow? Our D1 side is chasing a player for their game in Killara at 1pm. Even if you have never played before and just want to give it a go, you're more than welcome at the Rebs! For more details, send us a message or flick Declan a message on 0433 533 870.
