18.01.2022 Netball in 2020? Plans are underway for a return to netball at Pinks Reserve, hopefully with a July start date. We are considering all options where, with further easing of restrictions, we will be able to run a season this year. #valleynetball #returntoplay

08.01.2022 Dear Players and Parents, We are about to move into Stage 2 of our 2021 Valley Rep Team selection process. STAGE 1 (Basic Skills and Drills sessions)... Players can still join the last session of Stage 1 this weekend. All players wishing to participate in Stage 1, 2, or 3, must register via RockUp Netball via the link below http://www.rockupnetball.com.au//metro/lilydale-yarravalley The purpose of that registration was to ensure that players had insurance cover for all stages and to allow us to record player attendances for COVID-19 reporting purposes. STAGE 2 (Higher Intensity Skills, Drills and Match Play sessions) All players who wish to participate in stage 2 must also register via the following trybooking link. https://www.trybooking.com/BMKKO This is our usual registration process for trials that we have used in past years. When you register you will be asked to nominate 3 preferred positions for the match play sessions in stage 2 and the trials in stage 3 (in the event that you are invited to participate in those trials). But please note that during stages 2 and 3, the selectors may play you in a position that you have not nominated. And you may not necessarily be played in every position that you nominate. Please register for stage 2 no later than Sunday, 15 November 2020. The Stage 2 sessions will be held on: 11U Monday, 16 November 2020 - 6pm to 7:30pm Sunday, 22 November 2020 - 9am to 11am Monday, 23 November 2020 - 6pm to 7:30pm Sunday, 29 November 2020 - 9am to 11am 13U Monday, 16 November 2020 - 6pm to 7:30pm Saturday, 21 November 2020 - 9am to 11am Monday, 23 November 2020 - 6pm to 7:30pm Saturday, 28 November 2020 - 9am to 11am 15U Monday, 16 November 2020 - 7:45pm to 9:15pm Saturday, 21 November 2020 - 11:30am to 1:30pm Monday, 23 November 2020 - 7:45pm to 9:15pm Saturday, 28 November 2020 - 11:30am to 1:30pm 17U Monday, 16 November 2020 - 7:45pm to 9:15pm Sunday, 22 November 2020 - 11:30am to 1:30pm Monday, 23 November 2020 - 7:45pm to 9:15pm Sunday, 29 November 2020 - 11:30am to 1:30pm The dates for Open/Valley "Blaze" team will be confirmed once 18+ contact training is allowed to resume. Stage 2 will involve more advanced drills and match play. Attendance at all stage 2 sessions is compulsory. If you are unable to attend a stage 2 session because you are unwell, injured, attending a school commitment or visiting relatives in regional Victoria or interstate, please let me know as soon as you can. Please note that from Monday, 16 November 2020 we will be permitting 1 parent or guardian to enter the facility to watch and supervise their children who are participating in a session. All COVID-19 requirements - e.g. face masks, social distancing - will need to be observed. STAGE 3 - TRIALS Participation in stage 3 will be by invitation only. A list of the players invited to participate in stage 3 will be published on the Valley website on Sunday, 29 November 2020. The stage 3 sessions will be held on Monday, 30 November 2020 (all ages), Saturday, 5 December (13U and 15U) Sunday, 6 December 2020 (11U, 17U, Open and Valley"Blaze"). The times for the sessions will be confirmed during stage 2. The 2021 squad will be announced on Sunday, 6 December 2020. 08.01.2022 Due to the return to Coronavirus Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions, all group netball activities, training and games at Pinks Reserve Netball Facility are cancelled effective immediately, until further notice. Stay safe and look after each other.
