21.01.2022 Dear patients, We would like you to know that Croydon Chiropractic Centre WILL BE STAYING OPEN for your spinal care. In light of the recent government announcements with regards to closure for 'non-essential services', the Federal Health Minister has confirmed that ALL allied health businesses nationally can continue working and are encouraged to do so.... Caring for our community is extremely important to us, and so we have taken a few measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 and do our part to flatten the curve. - Extra cleaning/disinfecting of all equipment, surfaces and door handles. - Washing/sanitising of hands between each patient. - Chiros wearing face masks when treating. - Keeping a safe distance between each patient in the reception area. - Temperature of all staff taken before each shift. If you are feeling unwell or experiencing ANY of the following symptoms: Fever, cough, sore throat and/or shortness of breath. PLEASE give us a ring to re-schedule your appointment. Stay home, phone your GP and await further instructions. Let us all do our part in this testing time, for the sake of our friends, families and neighbours. Stay well. 21.01.2022 GREAT NEWS! From tomorrow, 19 October 2020, we will be open for ALL forms of chiropractic care including routine maintenance and checkups. For all those who have been holding off on your care, please give the clinic a ring at 9725 0525 to make an appointment! We will aim to fit you in ASAP!

20.01.2022 Dear Patients, From 11 July 2020, as per Victorian Government advice, ALL patients will be required to WEAR A MASK while in the treatment room. This also applies to everyone accompanying a patient in the treatment room. Any type of reusable cloth mask or surgical mask will be fine, as long as it covers both the nose and mouth. If you do not have one at the time of treatment, you can purchase one from reception.... We will not be able to treat you unless you have a mask. We apologise for the inconvenience, but please understand that we are doing this to protect everyone, especially our vulnerable patients. Thank you for your patience, understanding and co-operation. 20.01.2022 AND THAT'S A WRAP!!! The final toy tally for Toys For Treatment 2019 is... 256 TOYS AND $586 IN DONATIONS!!! ... Ashley, the captain of Salvation Army Mooroolbark came to collect the toys today, and we got a little peek behind the scenes in their toy distribution room. We are so glad to be a part of something so meaningful. A huge THANK YOU once again to everyone who participated! 14.01.2022 Dear patients, We would like to officially welcome our newest chiropractor Dr Joshua Harvey to the team at Croydon Chiropractic Centre! Dr. Joshua Harvey grew up in country Victoria and had access to Chiropractic care from a very young age. Having felt the benefits of Chiropractic care throughout his life, he has a passion to bring the same proactive, wellness-based care to improve the health of others. He is especially interested in discovering how Chiropractic adjustments c...an effect change in our neurology, as well as its impact on high level sports performance and injury prevention. In order to provide the highest level of care, Dr. Josh has undertaken further studies in various Chiropractic techniques, and will continue to do so throughout his career. Dr. Joshua leads an active lifestyle, and has trained in various sports and martial arts. He enjoys travelling and was fortunate enough to travel across South America before the border restrictions kicked in. He has some good stories about 4-day hikes in Macchu Picchu, bike rides through the Abra Malaga Mountains, seeing the Bolivian salt flats, llamas and flamingoes in Chile, and so much more. While our travel plans are being postponed, do give Josh a wave and have a chat with him about his recent adventures! Dr Joshua Harvey will be available for appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

14.01.2022 WONDERFUL NEWS! We have been given the "green-light" to go ahead with our annual TOYS FOR TREATMENT DAY this year! This will be our 30th TFT!! This year, more than ever, many families are doing it tough and we want to show our support as a community, to bring some cheer this Christmas.... For all appointments booked on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020, instead of paying for your appointment, bring a new and unwrapped toy instead, and place it under our Christmas tree. These toys will be donated to the Salvation Army Mooroolbark and distributed to families in need in time for Christmas. Please help to spread the word to your friends and families and help us to celebrate 30 years of #givingback Thank you to all 3 of our chiros and our reception staff for generously donating their time once again this year! 10.01.2022 The past 3 days have been a whirlwind of stress and anxiety for our chiros, our team and our patients trying to understand the details of what is and isn’t allowed in terms of our chiropractic care in these Stage 4 restrictions. We have just received confirmation from the DHHS that our clinic can indeed STAY OPEN and care for our patients as we usually do, without the need for any GP letter or referral and all our patients can come directly to us as they usually do! You may h...ave received a call from us yesterday informing you of the need to speak to your GP about getting a letter to attend our clinic. You DO NOT need to do this anymore. As always, we will put the health of our patients and community first. We thank you all for your patience and understanding in these strange and confusing times. For all those who have been affected by the new restrictions. Please hang in there and know that our thoughts are with you A huge thank you to the amazing Australian Chiropractors Association for advocating on behalf of us and our patients to receive the care they so vitally need without interruption! Croydon Chiropractic Centre will be staying open for your spinal care needs, but will be implementing some new procedures to minimise the risk of community spread of COVID-19. We will be taking the temperature of everyone who comes into the clinic, and ask that everyone continues to use our hand sanitiser, and reschedule your appointment if you’re feeling unwell with cold or flu symptoms.... Thank you to all our amazing staff and patients for all you’ve done so far! We appreciate your efforts through this tough time. Let’s keep at it and we will get through this together!

09.01.2022 Dear patients, Melbourne will be going back into Stage 3 lockdowns from midnight tomorrow night, for the next 6 weeks. Chiropractic remains an essential service and thus we will still remain OPEN for this period.... 06.01.2022 Dear patients, Following the latest DHHS advice (yes, more changes!) our clinic will be open for URGENT/ESSENTIAL CARE ONLY. This unfortunately means that all routine and maintenance visits will have to be postponed until after the stage 4 restrictions have eased in Melbourne on the 13th of September 2020. You WILL NOT need a GP letter or referral to be seen.... Our chiropractors will be giving everyone booked in over the next few weeks to discuss your appointment. We understand that this may be disappointing for many but we need to do the right thing by the community and further slow the spread of Covid-19. The more we can limit movement, the quicker we can get things back to normal again. As a result of this, we will also be operating at reduced hours, but we will be still be available most days. Please remember that we are still here for you if you require urgent chiropractic care, so please do not hesitate to give us a ring on (03) 9725 0525. Due to the reduced hours, we may not answer your call immediately but please leave us a message and we will ring you back as soon as we can! 05.01.2022 Dear patients, As per the advice of the DHHS, we will still be STAYING OPEN for your spine care needs. Chiropractic is deemed an essential health service and you will be allowed to travel outside of your 5Km radius to attend our clinic.... We will continue to follow the latest government advice and will continue to do all we can to keep our practice COVIDSafe. Due to the recent curfew implementations, we will not be taking appointments after 7pm. If you have an appointment scheduled after 7pm in the next few weeks, we will give you a call soon to reschedule it. Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.
