23.01.2022 With our 2020 season completely missed, we have certainly missed out on utilising our wonderful Home base which had only been extensively refurbished just the year before. We certainly thank Rob Steane who was the Mayor at the time for his dedication and vision. Other Councillors Marijke and Tasa (also pictured) were great supporters of the clubroom renovations. We thank them and very much look forward to utilising these magnificent facilities next season."

23.01.2022 VALE-PAT ARBUCKLE We are saddened to learn of the passing of Pat Arbuckle. The Croydon Football Netball Club send condolences to Sean, Jamie, Robbie, Michelle and their extended families. Pat was a huge supporter of her boys wearing the Croydon navy blue jumper. She will be sadly missed.

22.01.2022 With 2020 almost behind us we thank the exiting Committee members and are excited to look toward season 2021 and welcome the new Committee. If you would like to help out in some way, either on the committee or behind the scene please contact one of the committee members listed. We would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to Peter Cooper (Coops) for 11 years of tireless service on the committee, 2 years as Assistant Secretary and 9 years as Secretary. Althoug...h Peter is not on the committee, he will still be around the club helping out as usual, keeping track of the players games played stats and looking after the umpires for the U19 games. Also huge thanks to Darrell Grant aka Dasha for his years of service on the committee and keeping the football department in order. Looks like we will need to find a new Thursday night MC. Dasha will still help out when and where he can after making his treechange. Thanks to David Green, after many years of bringing sponsors to the club is handing over the sponsorship reins to another David, David Dent who has put his hand up for the job and we wish him all the best in the sponsorship role. Around the Committee table there is always room for more and we would welcome anyone, players, parents, supporters that would like to join. Each person brings with them different skills and new ideas that help the club continue to evolve. Please email your interest to [email protected] and we will be in touch. 20.01.2022 Thank you to those that joined our zoom AGM tonight. Due to zoom time restraints it was fairly quick but we got through all that needed to be done. Thank you to members of the out going 2020 Committee, it certainly was a different year than any other. Thanks also to those that have put their hands up to be a part of the committee for 2021. We will post a list of 2021 Committee members in the coming days.

20.01.2022 In this absent season, it would be wrong to not recognise the 60th anniversary of Croydons 1960 premiership. Croydon defeated Ringwood to bring home their first flag since 1948. Our very own Roger O'Brien adjudged BOG in the win. The side on the day consisted of four 17 year olds, L.Heywood, G.Ried, M.Wharton and J.Beck. Rogers words"I was very proud of the youngsters". To upgrade the club memorabilia from the day, the Past Players Assoc. along with the TTFriday group have refurbished and re presented photos of the team. What we had, to what will now hang in the rooms.

16.01.2022 GOOD NEWS-After talking with the supplier we've been able to reduce the price to $55 SPECIAL ORDER-LIMITED TIME ONLY We will be placing an order for babies/children Croydon footy jumpers, sizes 0-10. Orders must be in by CoB Mon 02/11. Please note these jumpers are not official/permitted game day on-field jumpers. If you miss the cut off, depending on demand a second order may be placed in the new year.
