05.01.2022 Our Club has a long history of supporting the Mental Health Unit at Maroondah Hospital. We were contacted last week with a desperate request for clothing for their consumers as Covid conditions had restricted their regular supply of donated clothing from community members. To meet the need we arranged donations via our members and also purchased online a selection casual clothes items in various sizes. These included track pants, hoodies, t-shirts and rubber thongs. The staff... were thrilled to receive vital clothing for their consumers from the team at Croydon & Montrose Rotary at this challenging time of restrictions. Some photos show the Drs (Consultant and Psych Reg) and a nurse and receptionist Heidi receiving these needed gifts for our most vulnerable members of society. Other photos are Rotary members delivering the clothing.

05.01.2022 Say Hi to Viv! Viv is one of the Co-Presidents of the Rotary Club of Croydon-Montrose. She joined the club only 19 months ago. Although Viv has only been a memb...er for 19 months, she had the advantage of knowing most of the members due to her late husband Clive being a member for around 18 years. Before joining the club, Viv spent time helping out at her Grandchildren’s school library. Viv looks forward to sharing her presidency with Jean Stuart, together they will continue to help the local and broader community where needed. Once the restrictions have been lifted, Croydon-Montrose has a project ready to collaborate with Bairnsdale Bushfire relief and Croydon Swinburne University. Until then Croydon-Montrose will continue to meet (online), keeping in touch and support each other! The Rotary Club of Croydon & Montrose Australia
