19.01.2022 SECTOR NEWS | The Australian Bureau of Statistics has today released its 2019 Causes of Death data, which includes national suicide information. Consistent with past data, suicide rates remain significantly higher outside capital cities than within them. This information highlights the need for continued efforts to address wellbeing and suicide prevention in our rural and remote communities. It's also important to remember that each figure presented in today's findings repr...esents an individual life lost, and we acknowledge those with a lived experience of suicide and bereavement.
