19.01.2022 Our Holiday Sailing Camp was terrific fun, with lots of great kids. Thanks to the volunteers who helped over the 3 days.

18.01.2022 SPS2 with Herons duty class this Saturday. It should be a very pleasant sunny 23 C with a light to moderate ESE building in the afternoon (10 knots around 4 pm). No tide to worry about as it will only change about 0.1 m during the race as it is high at 3 pm (1.5 m). There is a large high pressure system sitting over us. The morning wind will be very light with the tail end of Friday's change from the WSW (5 knots) weakening around mid-day as the wind shifts to the East. So a land breeze swinging around to a sea breeze, but not strong enough to be a northeasterly.

06.01.2022 Club Championship 2 this Saturday with winds forecast to be Northerly swinging NW later in the day. Probably around 12 knots with a slight dip around mid-day. They are typical pre-change winds in front of a change on Sunday so may be a bit gusty, The tide is low at 3:40 pm (0.2 m - quite low) falling about 0.2 m between the start at 2 pm and when it turns - so not much tidal flow. It should be cloudy, 26 C and a chance of some rain. Should be fun for heavier crews! Herons duty class -their last go for a while.
