01.01.2022 Congratulations Todd! Last week we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our remarkable Business Development Manager, Todd joining the CR family. Todd started his career in optics as an Apprentice Optical Mechanic in 1989 and 4 years later he won the South Australian Work sill Expo in fitting. His passion for the industry has led him from Dispensing position to Product Manager and Business Development Manager roles. He was selected for SOLA Optical’s Management Development Pro...gram and completed his MBA in 2009. Todd joined CR Surfacing in 2010 as a Business Development Manager for SA and WA, and today he looks after the Northern Territory as well. In his spare time Todd loves spending time with his family, most of all his little star, his grandson. Todd also has a passion for Karate and he represented SA in the 2019 National Championship so don’t mess with him When asked about his career at CR, Todd said: My decision to join CR 10 years ago was simple. I knew that the team exceled in Optics and had a culture where we worked as one. Red tape didn’t exist, decisions were made to benefit our customers. For me that was always going to be a winning formula. I have absolutely enjoyed my time, the challenges and the people I have spent my journey with at CR. I have had the opportunity to work with a great team, learn, experience difficulties, enjoy success and most of all I have made many great customers who I prefer to call my friends. Todd’s most cherished memories with CR Surfacing include his contribution to developing Optical Alliance and strong memberships in Australia and New Zealand, implementing the successful Perfection Lens Series and seeing both SA and WA grow into supporting CR. I believe CR has much to offer in an exciting future and this year’s challenges have only reiterated the importance of supporting Optics in Australia, so we can once again become a leader in manufacturing and technology. Thanks to Adam, Ray, the Management team and the people who make CR a success. I look forward to the next 10 years.
