25.01.2022 Happy Saturday Everyone. To anyone voting at OLHOC School on Balaclava Rd today - We’ve just been advised by the booth coordinator that anyone requiring assistance with voting can send their carers in to the polling booth and they’ll organise for someone to come out to the car/person to have their vote. Polling booths open at 8am this morning.... Have a great weekend.

11.01.2022 Providing increased flood immunity for residents in the Moody Creek catchment was an essential delivery of my last term in council. The detention basin will fill to spillway crest level during a Q20 flood event, temporarily storing about 100 megalitres of stormwater. The detention basin has an earth embankment with a concrete spillway. The Electoral Commission made it very clear that each candidate was allowed 1 sign each.... A count reveals that many candidates think they are well above the rules. Scott Colbran - Division 4 Cairns Council Candidate has 19 signs plus more on the intersection Richie Bates at Cairns Regional Council has 12 signs plus more around the intersection Multiple others have 6-10 each.
