25.01.2022 Boo, we are stuck in lock down again. Yay, the Sustainable Living Festival is on and there are a bunch of online events this weekend. Stay safe everyone, we got this!... http://www.slf.org.au/online-events/

16.01.2022 Go Falcs! It was an honour and very exciting to be at the Darebin Falcons VFLW jumper presentation on the weekend. I can’t wait to get to some games this season.

10.01.2022 Check out this amazing map of sustainable activities in Darebin! Whether you’re looking to source local food, borrow and share, connect with culture, recycle or even find a drinking tap, this is a great first step! https://discover.darebin.vic.gov.au//sustainable-/default

07.01.2022 No keep cup? No problem! Head to Northcote Bakeshop for a great coffee, and take the cup back there or to one of the growing list of awesome cafes. #Lovelocal... https://fb.watch/3VE5Yt24ib/

05.01.2022 Think you do more than your fair share of the housework? See how you stack up against Australian and international norms in this report. With International Women’s Day and Labor Day at the same time this year, it highlights that women are still doing much more housework and caring duties, and more likely to be in casual, part time and lower paid employment.... At a national level, countries like Sweden and Denmark have been able to reduce (but not yet eliminate) the gap in unpaid hours by providing longer and better paid parental leave to both partners, and largely subsidised child care. Locally, I think about the awesome child care centres that our kids went to. The staff, who were predominantly women did an amazing job to care for, educate and entertain all the little treasures, changing dirty nappies one minute and reporting on curriculum standards the next. Many of them had their own kids to look after when they got home. These skilled professionals should be among the highest paid, not the lowest paid in our society! A fairer world is possible https://www.abc.net.au//international-womens-day-/13202778
