24.01.2022 Had a great time last weekend. Playing at the market in the Armidale Mall went well. Got a really terrific reaction from the crowd. The songwriter's circle at Charlie's Last Stand on Sunday afternoon was really enjoyable. A range of local artists sharing their original material in a relaxed, friendly, supportive situation. Our next show will be at Charlie's Last Stand on Saturday 20th July from 7.00 'till late.

22.01.2022 Sad to say this will be our final post. After several years of performing around the area Crooked Tree is finishing up. Our last public show will be at Charlie's Last Stand next Saturday October 5th. We'll be playing from 7.00 until about 10.30. I want to thank everyone who's supported us. We've loved playing for you. Hope you can come along and share the night with us.

22.01.2022 Played at the opening of the Garden Bar at the newly refurbished Tattersalls Hotel in Armidale. Great venue, terrific atmosphere,and a big crowd. Thanks to everyone who turned up and got into the night. We loved playing for you. Excited to be booked to perform there again next Saturday September 21. We'll be playing from 6.00 until 9.00. Earlier that day we'll be providing live music at the U.N.E for the Albie's long lunch a fantastic charity event! Big weekend coming up. Can't wait.

21.01.2022 Really enjoyed playing at the M.S fundraiser last Tuesday night. It's always great to play to such a warm , friendly,engaged audience. We're back at Charlie's Last Stand tomorrow night. Saturday 25th. From 7.30 -- late. Hope to see another fantastic crowd sharing the show with us.

19.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of our control we've had to cancel our show at the Welder's Dog this Thursday. We were really looking forward to playing and have apologised to the organisers. We hope to be back doing live shows soon.

19.01.2022 Really enjoyed playing at Charlie's last night. Thanks to the great audience that shared the night with us. The level of engagement and positive responses to the music made it special for us and hopefully for you as well. The reaction to our new original songs was really encouraging. There's a new album on the way!

17.01.2022 We have been pretty quiet lately trying to come to terms with the recent death of our drummer, Paull Brandscheid. Paull was an outstanding musician and a really good friend. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and his many drum students across the area. During the covid restrictions he had been working with us on a new Crooked Tree album. 12 new originals nearly ready for the studio. We intend to keep working on this and will make sure that Paull's effort and contribution are recognised.

15.01.2022 Looking forward to our show next Saturday night 14th Sepember. We'll be playing from 6.00 p.m until 9.00 p.m in the Garden Bar at the Tattersalls Hotel. It's part of the opening for this fantastic new venue. Will be a great night.

13.01.2022 We're getting back to some live shows. We really regret having to cancel The Welder's Dog last week. We were looking forward to it. We're planning on playing at the Open Mic at The Top Pub Uralla.There's a blues theme. That's on next Sunday afternoon, June 30. Then we're heading up to the songwriter's circle at Charlie's Last Stand to perform some original songs. Same day, starts at 4.00 pm. Should be lots of fun.

13.01.2022 We have a great week coming up. On Tuesday 21st we're playing at an M.S. fundraising event at Charlie's Last Stand. It's an important cause and we hope to see lots of people there. Starts at about 5.00 pm. On Saturday 25th we'll be back at Charlie's for our regular monthly show from 7.00 till late. We'll also be at Charlie's on Sunday 26th from 5.00 as part of a songwriters' circle. 5 local songwriters will be performing acoustic versions of their original songs in a relaxed friendly environment with some great cocktails.

12.01.2022 Just a quick reminder. Charlie's Last Stand, this Saturday, March 30th. You'll hear some Dylan, Van Morrison, John Lennon, Steve Earle, J.J Cale as well as some Delta Blues and and original material. There'll even be some Stones and Creedence Clearwater. We start about 7.30. Hope to see you there.

11.01.2022 We had a great night at the Tattersall's hotel last night. It was a whiskey and cigar night. Amazing venue and a wonderful audience. Thanks for all the positive feedback. We really enjoyed playing for you all. Next Saturday, August 24th we'll be performing at Charlie's Last Stand. Always a great night. Be fantastic to see you there.

10.01.2022 After a long break it's great to be back in action. Michael Bailey, Mick Houlahan and Ian Russell will be performing live in the Garden Bar at Tattersalls hotel this Friday, December 4th from 7.00 until 10.00 p.m. Hope you can make it.

08.01.2022 Michael, Mick and I will be doing some shows as a trio over the next few weeks. Tomorrow, January 23 we'll be playing at the Guyra showground as part of a one day covid safe Lamb and Potato Festival event. We'll be on stage from 10 a.m until 12.00. On Australia Day, Tuesday 26th, we'll be doing a show in the Garden Bar at Tattersalls Hotel in Armidale from 12.00 until 3.00. We're also excited to be doing our first performance at the Welders Dog in Armidale. Thursday February 4th from 7'30 p.m until 10.00. Hope to see as many of you as possible as live music starts to reappear.

07.01.2022 Next weekend on Saturday August 17, we're playing at an event in the Whiskey and Cigar Bar at the newly refurbished Tatts hotel in the Armidale Mall. Went and checked out the venue recently. Looks absolutely amazing. We are excited to do a show there. The audience at our last Charlie's Last Stand show was great. We really want to thank you all for the terrific response we received. We'll be back at Charlie's on Saturday August 24 from 7 -- late. Hope to see you all there.

07.01.2022 Change of plan. We'll be playing at the market in the Armidale Mall from 9.30 until 12.30 on Sunday June 30. Then doing the songwriter's circle at Charlie's Last Stand from 4pm until 7.00. Looking forward to an enjoyable day

07.01.2022 We really enjoyed our performance at the Guyra showground yesterday. Great crowd, terrific sound provided by Steve Mepham. We'lll be playing in the Garden Bar at the Tattersalls Hotel Armidale between 12.00 and 3.00 on Australia day. Looking forward to another enjoyable show.

06.01.2022 We'll be playing at Charlie's Last Stand on Saturday 30th of March The show starts at 7.30 p.m. and will run until about 10.30. We're working towards a second album of original songs and are planning to play a few of them for the first time in public on the night. The audiences at our last few shows at Charlie's have been fantastic. Hope to see you back. If you haven't been to one of our shows give it a go. We'll give you a great night.

06.01.2022 Had another great night at Charlie's. Fantastic crowd who want to listen to your music. which all artists love. We were getting requests for original songs, wh[ch feels amazing. People were singing along with them. Bloody hell! Song writers' Circle went really well. More more to come. We'll be at the Welder's Dog on Thursday Jun 13th. Hope your there with us.

04.01.2022 We've had a quiet few weeks so we are really ready to have a big show at Charlie's Last Stand tomorrow night. July 20th, 7 until late. Hope to see you there having a relaxed drink and enjoying the music.

02.01.2022 Played down in Armidale Mall today. Outside of Reader's Companion to celebrate International Record Store Day. Michael and I performed a 2 hour acoustic set. Not our normal show but great fun. We were very pleased to have Kez Watson join us on violin for the show. Thanks to all those people who responded so positively to what we were doing. It was great to see our new original songs being so well received.
