23.01.2022 Last week we reached another major milestone in the Eden Welcome Centre project with the standing of the 9m high structural timber posts. Thank you to Sapphire Coast Cranes for assistance with getting them up and Andersons Cranes for support in the loading yard and installation of the 3m high posts, and Thank You to Glenn Vardy for the photos, and of course the Project Manager. The Eden Welcome Centre is still on track for completion by the end of 2020.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Cleo Stylianou and Jessica Peters for receiving a VET Student Award! Cleo and Jessica are valued members of our youth Welcome Ambassador team, spending last cruise season meeting and greeting cruise passengers who visited Eden. The youth who help make up part of our Welcome Ambassador team... aka Cruise Eden red brigade! are a big part of the fantastic welcome that Eden puts on every time a cruise ship comes in, and will again when cruising returns to Eden. Big thanks to Debbie Meers for bringing them and and looking after them each year! #WeAreCruise

22.01.2022 We would normally hold an 'End of Cruise Season' Community Debrief at this time, but with current restrictions this is not possible. Please rest assured we will hold a Community meeting later in the year, and will keep you all updated as to when. We look forward to seeing you soon, and in the meantime, stay safe and well!

19.01.2022 This event is an opportunity to find out about the progress of three key local projects for Eden and to ask questions. Hosted by Bega Valley Shire Council in conjunction with Port Authority of NSW, a panel will present on the Eden Port Connectivity Upgrade project along Imlay St and Albert Terrace, the Barclay Street Masterplan and the Port of Eden Welcome Centre Construction. The information session will be managed in accordance with COVIDSafe physical distancing measures, w...ith attendance limited to 50 people. Registration is essential. The event will be livestreamed via Council’s Facebook page.

19.01.2022 Flashback to last season when we were about to open our brand new Cruise Wharf and then welcome 18 ships to our beautiful port. Debbie Meers said it best in this video "Cruise Eden is a fabulous team, sometimes we border on family". We look forward to welcoming cruise ships back to Eden when the time is right. Until then, take a look at the Cruise Eden story. #wearecruise

17.01.2022 UPDATED: Cruise schedule for Eden. Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, Carnival are continuing their voluntary suspension of cruises for another 30 days, until the middle of May. **The Pacific Explorer visit on 16 May is subject to approval from governing bodies. We will update you in due course as to any changes to this schedule.

16.01.2022 With the recent announcement by Carnival Australia that they will be extending their pause in cruise operations until 1 September, we now have the official cancellation of our final cruise ship for the 2019/20 cruise season. We look forward to the return of cruise visitation once we're all past this. Until then, stay safe :)

15.01.2022 A lovely positive story about cruising featuring Eden. We're looking forward to the safe return of cruising to our port when the time is right.

11.01.2022 Great news piece featuring our very own Eric Wolske Eden Antiques, Collectables & Old Wares, Peter Whiter and Natalie Godward. The value of cruise visits to Eden cannot be underestimated. Our community has put so much into welcoming cruise ships over 15 years and we'll be ready again when the time is right. #wearecruise

08.01.2022 During our downtime it’s great to acknowledge the broader team that makes cruise possible in Eden. Bonnie Hyland is one such team member... helping with the lines and providing the ships agency on behalf of Svitzer are important parts of a cruise day. We’re grateful to have you in the team and proud to call you one of our own! Here’s to the next season and all being able to work together again! #wearecruise

08.01.2022 Thank you for the recognition Workplace Learning! We're very proud of our Cruise Eden Welcome Ambassadors in red shirts and can't wait until we can all be back on the wharf welcoming cruise passengers again.

08.01.2022 One of the things we love doing at Cruise Eden is working with our local youth. With a temporary pause in cruise visitation, and therefore the opportunity to work with our Welcome Ambassadors, we're supporting our youth another way. Mia, a year 11 student at Lumen Christi Catholic College, is doing an assignment on cruise ship visitation to Eden, please take a couple of moments to complete Mia's survey. All answers are anonymous. #wearecruise

05.01.2022 We're super excited to share this update on the Eden Welcome Centre, still on track for completion in October this year despite COVID-19. Following the demolition of the old co-op, the site was prepared, 85 tonnes of steel was laid and last week we poured 450 cubic metres of concrete to form the slab for the Welcome Centre. Over the coming weeks you will start to see the structure taking shape, including the placement of some beautiful hand picked aged timber from up and down the coast. It's fantastic working with local builder Neil Rankin and his team. When cruise ships come back to visit Eden, we'll be ready!
