20.01.2022 Folks, on the spur of the moment, I thought I would give hand made lamingtons a try . Here they are...my very first attempt at lamingtons. I made a bite size one to try. Safe to say I nailed it . There's only 20 available, so you'll need to be at the markets early or you'll miss out.

20.01.2022 Good morning folks. The markets are on this morning. There is lots of Social Distancing and only food stalls today. There's nothing to stop and browse at only necessities. I don't have as much as I usually do... lamingtons, orange cakes, bar cakes, muffins and sultana bars. Brownie and chocolate slice as well as some monte carlo biscuits.

19.01.2022 Good morning folks and happy Mothers Day to all the Mums. I've got a couple of special cakes here today....gave the Russian flowers a go, I think they're a bit pretty . I've also injected some with caramel and swirled it into the frosting..... I think it's a bit like a Jersey Caramel. Come and try them .

14.01.2022 What a crazy few weeks its been folks . I'd like to give a big shout out to all of you who have been continuing to support Crumbs by coming to the markets and buying my goods, thankyou very much . An extra special thankyou to Estelle.... I don't know if she follows my page . She knew I was having trouble sourcing ingredients and on Sunday delivered me some flour and sugar and cocoa. Thankyou so much from the bottom of my heart . Thankyou also to everyone else who has... helped me with getting ingredients over the last few weeks. It's very much appreciated . Things seem to be settling down , I'm starting to see stock staying on the shelf a bit longer . See you on Sunday. See more

12.01.2022 Good morning folks.....in case you didn't realise, we're open today at the Kern Arcade markets. There's only food traders here. Social distancing and hand hygiene in abundance. So if you need cakes to get you through some social isolation, pop down, get what you need and off you go . There's also meat and fruit and vegetables here .

11.01.2022 Folks, what a whirlwind couple of weeks! In the last 3 weeks, I have quit my job, and started training in a new job. It's been a big change and a lot to take in, so I decided to take a week off last week to breathe for a minute . I was getting ready to bake today when I got a call to come to work. I'll be at the markets tomorrow with yummy delicious goodies, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to get done during the night. I'm going to have a quick nap and then do a bit m...ore. 09.01.2022 My goodness folks, it was brass monkey weather this weekend wasn't it? Brrrr. It was so cold, even my oven didn't warm the kitchen . It was so cold, my buttercream went hard and I couldn't pipe any of my cakes . Luckily, it warmed up enough to do it today a AFTER the markets . Anyway, I have a range of cakes available..... orange, chocolate, patty, carrot, bar cakes and some monte carlo biscuits.... Let me know if want anything . See more
