17.01.2022 Happy New Year! The Crusader Homes team is back on deck getting ready for 2020! It has not been the best few months for so many in Australia with the current bushfires causing so much damage and heartache. A bushfire can move very quickly, very dangerous and unpredictable. When building a new home, you should always have a Bushfire Survival Plan before you move in. This will help ensure the right prevention methods are in place for your safety and the safety of others in and... around your home. Although a Bushfire Survival Plan may not go exactly to plan, knowing which emergency radio channels to listen to, your exits (around your home and town/suburb) and nearest evacuation centre are very important steps. For more information on a Bushfire Survival Plan, please click the link below from Tasmania Fire Service. http://www.fire.tas.gov.au/Show

17.01.2022 A construction warehouse can be an interesting place. Crusader Homes, for the second time in 12 months, has become home to some new born kittens. All kittens are warm, safe and dry. They have been taken to Ten Lives Cats Home in New Town to be looked after until they are old enough to be re-homed to loving families. 12.01.2022 Want to know what we call Throw Back Thursday? ... Booms Up Friday! We've gone back through some old pictures and found a beauty! This picture was taken in March before all the restrictions hit Southern Tasmania. Meet the team Meet (from left to right) Lucas, Corey, Hamish and Bede. Lucas is currently on track to complete his last year (fourth year) in Carpentry. Corey (known by his work colleagues as Corka) is in his third year of a tiling apprenticeship. Hamish is nearly... finished with his first year Carpentry apprenticeship and learning a lot. Bede is currently in High School doing the Big Picture Program - this allows Bede and other students to learn skills on the job while completing High School. Crusader Homes hopes that everyone is staying safe during these difficult times. #boomsupfriday #staysafe

09.01.2022 Crusader Homes is always looking to improve the quality of work while keeping our carbon footprint and work site hazards to a minimum. One way we are doing this is by using AUS Cupolex System when we can for slabs. Made in Australia Quick and simple to install Can be easily adapted to any soil classification... Minimizes concrete wastage Made out of 100% non-toxic recyclable material which can contribute to GREEN STAR certified building Unlike other void systems the CUPOLEX DOMES are strong and sturdy to work with, potentially reducing work site hazards. One pallet of CUPOLEX replaces 3-4 trucks of gravel or fill. Minimizes site traffic See more
