24.01.2022 Cheers! Ive waited a long time for this.. Unfortunately we will remain a takeaway venue for preorder takeaway on Friday and Saturday nights for the meantime. Current social distancing regulations only allow us a maximum of 6 inside our venue so rather than do it by halves ( actually quarters!) we will hold off for now. There will be opportunity to book dinner for parties of 6 coming soon however a minimum spend per person will be required, but the place will be all yours! We...ll, I will be here of course.. In abiding with Covid Regulations our inside dining is capped at 12 maximum at any one time and whilst outdoor dining is also available numbers too are subject to Covid restrictions...... so booking is highly recommended!! 16.01.2022 Ok, so Ive completed my Covid Safe plan, as i knew 6 maximum inside ( please spend $300+ each!) and a mere 8 allowed outside.. I love that Outdoor dining has been affiliated with sports ...how so ?? Sports ?? Really?? If this is the case how come contact training etc is ok but the 4sq metre rule of distancing still applies to OUTSIDE dining??? Seriously, whos in charge of this rubbish??? Whoever it is please define the words consistent and fair for me....

Landlords are making arrangements for repairs later this week however they will impede any opportunity to prep for this weekend. 10.01.2022 Its with great disappointment that I must announce the closure ( temporary?) of Cru after this weekends trade. As the social distancing requirement of 1 person per 4sqm was not relaxed or even reduced, our maximum capacity allowed at any one time remains at only 6. Takeaway has seen a dramatic downturn ( tonight 1 order)since the re opening of pubs etc that can accommodate greater numbers, and this trend will continue as capacities are increased. Its just not feasible for... us any longer to open the doors. We will accommodate with gusto any party of 6 wishing to host a private dinner with a minimum spend of $100-per person. 02.01.2022 YES, Mr Marshall has lifted some restrictions, NO it hasnt changed the size of our Venue. 10 people is the maximum allowed inside, if he changes it to 20 or 50 it still wont help. In compliance to the 4 Sq metre rule , as our venue is only 25sq metres the maximum we can have inside is a mere 6 at best ( still seeking clarification as to whether or not staff count..as clear as mud) Its incomprehensible to think a business will open for 6 at a time. Im sad to say but until this requirement is lifted Cru will continue to remain closed for dine in and will provide takeaway only. As for 10 outside... bit cold... CU4SquaremetreruleiskillingusCRU
