23.01.2022 This morning we bad a small celebration with pancakes to celebrate our obtaining the lease for the old hockey club Now we need to apply for some grants to build a shed to accomodate our growing number of members.

We need you to help keep our vision of maintain...ing Bowman Park for everyone to utilise and enjoy. Learn about the park, have your say and join the group of dedicated members who volunteer their time to keep the park a wonderful and safe place to visit, now and for the future. The BPMC have been working hard to develop a plan for the proposed nature play space and to consolidate funding for the project. It is an exciting time for Bowman Park with some wonderful projects to benefit families and the wider community coming together. Now would be a great time for new community members to become involved with the committee and to have your input / assistance with the projects! Please direct any enquiries to [email protected]

12.01.2022 Crystal Brook Community Mens Shed in conjunction with the Red Cross TLAP and some others are starting a Community Garden in the Brook, the name of the group is The Mid North food security network group. The launch of this venture will be held on Friday 12 July from 12 midday at Sullivan place in Bowman St opposite the Bakery. We will.have a sausage sizzle on the day. We will have questionnaires on the day . We need to find people who are interested in gardening. The garden will be a part of the Mens Shed, raised beds will be installed shortly. 04.01.2022 Things are starting to move on the new shed. Yesterday the concrete for the piers was poured, pity about the rain. I missed getting pics of the pour. Managed to get some of the drilling rig. Ready now to start erecti g the framework.
