15.01.2022 The Crystal Brook Show Committee is excited to announce our inaugural Photo Calendar Competition! We are looking for your best Agricultural themed photographs to be part of a 2020/2021 calendar that will be sold as a fundraiser for the 2021 Crystal Brook Show Day. In addition, this new competition will also now feature in our Photography section each year with the winning photos printed in the following years calendar. Entries for the 2020/2021 calendar competition close a...t 5pm on Wednesday June 10th 2020. The entries will be judged soon after by a panel of Crystal Brook Show Committee members, with calendars being printed and available for purchase locally or via this page early in July. Good Luck!

08.01.2022 Unfortunately 2020 has not quite turned out as we had planned - our aim for this year was to bring you Online Entries for Show Day (Showdayonline Australia software). This software will streamline a lot of our behind the scenes processes for our Show Book and Entries sections and provides an easy way for the public to submit their Show Day entries. With no Crystal Brook Show this year, it does mean we have extra time to become familiar with the software for our 2021 Show! A special thanks to our local Crystal Brook Bendigo Bank Agency (located at Ramsey Pharmacy) for providing sponsorship towards this software. Please support those who support your local Show.

08.01.2022 Crystal Brook Show Membership 2020 To our valued members and Show community: As you would be aware sadly we have been unable to run our annual Show this year in 2020 due to COVID-19 and the associated restrictions. A mountain of work is happening behind the scenes to ensure that we can bring you a fabulous Show in 2021, however we are still faced with our normal fixed costs this year such as insurance and affiliations expenses. ... We have had several people ask the Committee if membership invoices will be forwarded out as per previous years. In order to reduce costs we will not be mailing out invoices for 2020 membership payments. Due to no Crystal Brook Show this year we are leaving the option of renewing your membership for 2020 up to you - if you would like to pay your membership (same pricing as last year), please contact our Secretary ([email protected]) for an invoice or alternatively please deposit into the following bank account details with your name as reference. North Western Agricultural Society Inc BSB: 0156-693 Account Number: 6025-50050 Please note there is no obligation to pay 2020 membership. Our membership invoices in 2021 will be mailed to our listing from 2019. We appreciate the support of our members and the community, and fully understand if people do not wish to pay for 2020 membership due to no Show this year, or because they are themselves experiencing financial hardship. The Committee is eagerly looking forward to 2021 and the excitement that the preparations for next year will bring, and we thank you all for your continued support of Crystal Brook Show.

01.01.2022 Our Show is scheduled for 8th August this year, and at this point in time we have a business as usual approach, however we are watching the Government updates on COVID-19 restrictions on a daily basis. The health and safety of our volunteers, workers and attendees is of the utmost importance and we will not jeopardise this. We will comply with the restrictions on social distancing as they are currently and as they continue to evolve. In the next couple of months, pending f...urther developments around COVID-19, we will make a final decision on the Show for this year and will notify you all via this page. Many thanks to those who have messaged their support in these challenging times. Whatever decision is made we know that the longevity of our Show will continue well past the 142 years of success it has already had.
