21.01.2022 Today was our first session of Peer Reading for all students K-6. This is often a highlight for the teachers here at Crystal Creek- seeing our students engage in reading for enjoyment with older peers is a beautiful thing!

21.01.2022 FRIDAY FUN DAY! Get excited because tomorrow is Friday fun-day! The teachers have organised lots of fun activities for kids throughout the day to celebrate the term that was! Kids can wear Mufti clothes to school however closed in shoes MUST be worn and NO singlets.

18.01.2022 Book Week 2020! We had such a great morning in our parade, we had a small dance party and got to look and maybe even purchase a couple of books!

17.01.2022 Some magical things happened at Crystal Creek PS early this morning. The boys and girls in K/1 and 2/3/4 were surprised with the arrival of their elves all the way from the North Pole. Introducing Ollie from K/1 and Samantha from 2/3/4. While the elves are here for a visit, they will be watching and reporting to Santa. We will keep you updated with the wonderful and crazy things they get up to in our classrooms.

17.01.2022 So excited to share our fun day will be happening next Wednesday the 23rd. All students can wear mufti to school on this day.

15.01.2022 Lunch time nature craft this week! The students have been making beautiful hanging mobiles out of all natural products and string! It’s been great to see the friendships and collaboration involved!

13.01.2022 Exciting news! This Thursday the 6th of August is book week! This year’s theme is ‘Arctic Adventure.’ All Crystal Creek students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character for our book parade. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 parents will not be able to attend this parade on school grounds. However, we are happy to announce the event will be live streamed on our Facebook page for all parents to watch!

10.01.2022 We hope all Crystal Creek students are tucked in bed ready for a full day of school tomorrow. We welcome back all students from K-6 for the start of Term 3. Parents are still unable to come onto school grounds for the health and safety of everyone, please drop off and pick up your child/ren at the front gate where a member of staff will greet you. We are looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces tomorrow.

07.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK A time for all Aussies to get together and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their Culture. It's also a time to learn more about the history of Australia's First Nations people. NAIDOC week actually started out as a protest back in 1938 on the 26th of January, AKA Australia day or for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people the day that marks when the land they'd been living on for thousands of years was claimed by someone else and st...arted hundreds of years of mistreatment and discrimination. 06.01.2022 This week for lunch time craft the students made flower crowns. They looked beautiful and a lot of thought went into making them.

05.01.2022 Welcome back to term 4 Crystal Creek! Our K/1 students got an amazing surprise for their first day back with our new out door learning space, right out the front of the classroom door. Today the K/1 students enjoyed their fruit break and quiet reading in the fresh air.
