My GOD how many times I tried to get a property developer to put in interesting details like this and they never listened... and look how good it can look Would you be satisfied with a laminate bench top in a new kitchen? 25.01.2022 Its been a long time friends! 2019 has started off with a bang and I cant wait to share the results of all the exciting bits and bobs in the pipeline First off the mark though was a new portrait (thanks @cheyne_o and @benjaminnewlyn) On top of that was also this morning having that beautiful Bardwell Valley kitchen project photographed and I have a couple of double page spreads coming up in a big national magazine over the next few months... Autumnal tones were carried through with the Ikebana inspired floral arrangements and the gorgeous terracotta napkins We injected a little cheekiness with cinema numbers and movie table names on the menus (because the couple met when they worked at the movies and it’s one of their passions!) Further warmth was carried through with the customised gold movie ticket placeholders and menus and you BEST BELIEVE I c...reated gold customised movie ticket placeholders with a Fantales inspired ‘Did you know’ how-we-met message on the back WITH a personal ‘buttered popcorn’ fairy floss for all these movie-goers! ... 14.01.2022 WELCOME TO THE CHAPEL OF LOVE! Chuffed to be able to share photos of the recent wedding styling I created for the hottest of couples Pulled together in record time! (8 weeks between being approached, and the big day itself!) Their must-haves were Autumnal tones, minimal arrangements, and contemporary (‘cos we ain’t always ol’ fashioned y’hear) The chapel only required a welcome sign (with the graphics package designed by moi) and a simple yet beautiful arrangem...ent for the altar and entire bridal party! 09.01.2022 So Ive been busy for the last year quietly working away on an insanely important event The wedding of @cheyne_o and @benjaminnewlyn has finally come, and unbelievably passed I was and am legit honoured to have had them trust me with the styling of their once in a lifetime day Cheyne and I have been in each others lives and friends since preschool but that in no way ever made me think theyd choose me by default for such an important task! It was important for m...e to get this right, to meet their budget, to build a space for them to enjoy, to feel celebrated and to feel spoilt This had me dusting off my old events hat from when I worked in hire many moons ago, and it really did feel like hopping onto an old bike This has completely re-lit my what felt like a fading fire inside me and I only want to chase even more creative endeavours and smash through them I love these boys for their constant support And am forever grateful for all theyve sparked within me @ Dunbar House See more

08.01.2022 Taking a moment to appreciate those beautiful details Cheeky little snap I took from yesterdays photo sesh at my Bardwell Valley project How beautiful does the @caesarstoneau Cloudburst Concrete look! And with the efflorescence (the parts that looks like white clouds breaking through) is just diviiine And let me tell you, the rough low reflective matte finish feels so amazing you constantly want to run your hands over it, so much more tactile and inviting than a...ny polished top It was a big deal for me to put forward only finishes and materials that I knew would be a literal joy to live with every day, what a delight to have had clients that shared that same appreciation See more

I feel like it's an old fashioned thing that SHOULDN'T be an old fashioned thing When there's so many gorgeous fabrics, textures and prints why wouldn't you want to drape dat table? Thanks to the glory of instagram I came across this gorgeous and super graphic 'White Curve Tablecloth' by @mosey_me!... Their own original hand painted design that's then digitally printed onto the fabric before being sew in good ol' Melbs, Oz! I love Love LOVE seeing beautiful product that's both designed and manufactured in Australia, I need to get one of these ASAP See more

04.01.2022 Recently went Back to School and completed a Statement of Attainment in Traditional Illustration Techniques After feeling creatively stale for what feels like forever I thought it would be a good idea to throw myself into something new! So... went back to @tafensw Design Centre Enmore Wednesday evenings once a week for 9 weeks and got into it! We briefly covered pencil, ink, watercolour and gouache and I was able to explore new mediums that I was too overwhelmed to ...attempt on my own Our teacher @nelson.matoma was so open with his knowledge and really pushed me to free myself and feel the music! This was my freestyle go in gouache inspired by a Jacanamijoy piece I did for homework in the second last week I really enjoyed my time there and am looking to do something else to keep this creative train going Felt completely invigorated after every class and dont mind chasing that feeling!
