20.01.2022 Another throw back to late last year, spending a week up in the hills capturing Tom West record his new album culminated with moving a single mic outside and recording this one take session. It seemed that everything aligned so perfectly for this and we were able to capture something very special. I actually bumped the mic stand 15 seconds in but this was still the best take

19.01.2022 This past year has been one of such growth for me personally so I'm revisiting some of the projects I'm so proud to have produced in the last twelve months. Ambleside - Dear Mother The room we shot in was an old rumpus room that was never completed. We actually built the rear wall you see in this clip (with the help of my dear mother ironically) out of scrap bricks and leftover floorboards, we then painted the remaining areas with some paint we found in the shed. The rain was... created using a sprinkler hose running like a snake throughout the ceiling and some creatively placed rear lighting helped to make the droplets pop. We also had an industrial sized heater placed just to the left of the boys and a nice bottle of rum being shared around to help keep warm between takes but the constant hot/cold changes wreaked havoc on our immune systems. Poor Stevo was shaking from mild hypothermia by the last few takes. I was in a homemade giant plastic poncho protecting myself and my at the time brand new camera from the fake rain, however my legs weren't so lucky resulting in my upper half being incased in a steamy bag of sweat and my lower half drenched in freezing cold water. The heist scene at the beginning was shot in Mildura where the guys from Amble grew up. It's actually a local art gallery called The Art Vault and they were kind enough to let us inside for a day to shoot the scene. The extras are all family and friends local to Mildura. Moments after completing the filming 3 cop cars had arrived at the scene investigating "a van full of men in balaclavas driving the streets".
