23.01.2022 CSA conducted cleaning in the roofs of B Divison in Pentridge Prison to have the prison ready for living spaces. Our team consisted of 14 operators and they worked there for 7 days. Educting the 140+ year old dust out of the roof, then sprayed it down with PVA glue to help keep the dust down. #csaspecialised #vacuumloading

Reporting to the Utility Engineering & Surveying Manager, this role is responsible for undertaking a variety of service locating, data processing and reporting tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Locating underground utilities and marking to AS5488-2013 Classification of Subsurface Utility Information (SUI), using required spray paints, flags and other methods as needed -Working on high profile projects as well as job sites -Reading and understanding utility maps, plans, and aerial imagery to assist in identification of underground assets -Operating Ground Penetrating Radar -Geo Spatial Surveying and data recording -Conducting Pre-Start / Daily Inspections Checks to Company Procedure daily and keeping documented records on assigned vehicle, plant and equipment The successful applicant must have: -Experience in Underground Utility Locating / Surveying -2 years’ experience in Civil Construction industry -Use subsurface technologies including the operation and maintenance of equipment such as EM-Wands, SONDE, Ground Radar and CCTV -Familiarity with Survey equipment including RTK GPS and Total Station, Experience with Trimble equipment, Autodesk software, Total Stations and GNSS/or other software packages -Driver's License -White Card -Full Australian Working Rights -Trade Certificate background The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug/alcohol test. A 530CFM Pompetravaini liquid ring pump and Hawke high pressure water pump fed by 1400L of fresh water make for a very a nice setup! On Monday, we had the pleasure of hosting some of the crew from CSA Specialised Services at Hard Edge in South Melbourne and it was wonderful to chat to some of the drivers and hear about their experiences on the road.
