09.01.2022 An educator and I were discussion how some children like to collect all the toys for what seems to be not other reason than to have them. Also about watching a two year old lie on the ground and watch the wheels of a car go round and round, this led to discussions of Schema and research that led to this explanation Knowing about these play-urges can help us to understand why our children are so determined to do certain things that we might not understand from the following website. I hope you enjoy the information as much as I did. http://www.nature-play.co.uk/blog/schemas-in-childrens-play
