24.01.2022 Todays truck goodness is this monster F350. With 6 inches of lift and rolling on 37's it is an imposing sight. The customer came in for an aluminium canopy frame that will be canvas covered for trips away. The frame can be removed or fitted in 2 minutes because it mounts into the stake holes in the bed sills. No corners cut here, the top was rolled to perfectly match the roofline of the vehicle. Middle frames are RHS instead of flimsy flatbar that is normally used. Shame it won't be seen but the customer was stoked.

23.01.2022 Shiny new custom tipper for this Genesis. Built to go over the hand rail. With a few measurements I can build a custom tipper to suit any boat. Free delivery provided in the metro area during this time of restricted travel.

22.01.2022 Todays truck goodness is this bad arse black ozzie spec F250 with it's new double 4" satin black sports bar. Sorry Matt, I thought I put this up already.

14.01.2022 Colour coded double 4" sports bar for this new Silverado. The white on white actually looks really good. Made to work with the Pace Edwards power cover.

13.01.2022 Pair of fuel tanks for a Bertram 23. Constructed of 4mm aluminium, welded inside and out, baffled and pressure tested. These fit in under the side pockets of the boat so don't take up any deck space on the boat and doubled the range.

11.01.2022 Alright it's Silverado Sunday. This new model came in for a host of goodies. Front 4" double sports bar in Satin black. Rear single 4" bar in Satin black with mounting points for the boat loader that will be fitted later. Front light mount/nudge bar in Satin black. And a set of custom full length storage boxes in the bed with adjustable tie down rails. These are built around the wheel arches to keep them tucked in to the side of the bed as much as possible.

10.01.2022 Ok, it has been a very long time since I posted anything on here but I figure with all the crap that is going on now why not give people something to look at other than virus updates. CSD Designs has had a few ups and downs over the last couple of years with 2 eastern states dealers deciding to send my products to asia to have them copied. What they ended up with was not even close to the quality but it was annoying none the less. The truck products continue to be made and a lot of marine work has been done as well as some very special projects that were a real test. I will be putting them all up for people to see over the coming weeks.

10.01.2022 And now for something completely different. Depending what you do in life there may come a time where you are issued a real challenge and have the opportunity to show what you are capable of. That opportunity came to me from an unexpected source. I made a shade top for a boat whose owner happened to be the Principal of a Catholic school. The school had a project in mind and after seeing the quality of my work they decided to approach me to see if I was interested. The rest is history. These 2 crosses were the result. The Mercy cross was designed and built inhouse. After hours of work on the computer to get the design right I was happy with the proportions and the project got underway. All up there was around 100 hours put into this but the results were worth the effort.

06.01.2022 New cray pot tipper and a custom removable stainless steel ladder for the kids to get onto the roof of this kick arse Fury 282.

06.01.2022 Need to get some updates out on what has been happening at CSD. Very busy with a variety of work from trucks to boats to some unusual one off creations. First up is a double 4" polished roll bar for this Silverado 3500 Dually that is being turned into a tow truck. The customer wanted the big beacon light bar mounted which came with some crappy brackets that I wasn't going to put on something I made. The solution was to make some custom polished brackets that look a thousand times better.

06.01.2022 Just a quick message to let everyone know that at this stage I am still operating. I have been self isolated in the workshop for the last 10 years so no change there. Pickups and drop offs can be done with no contact and maintaining recommended distancing. I will be cleaning all jobs down with isopropyl alcohol before delivery and cleaning boats or vehicles that have been worked on in the same way. If anyone has any questions just let me know.

01.01.2022 So lets start with some marine parts. This is a very custom polished stainless steel frame for the rear of a large sailing catamaran. Is a seat as well as a mounting point for solar panels. Fits in well with the rest of the boat.
