Email us at [email protected] to get your hands on yours... 2020 has been a challenging year to say the least. To start things off I would like to thank everyone who has supported us the past 6 months. From our staff, the Hills Sports High School and Kiwi Daddys crew renovating and putting the gym together to all our members, client and stakeholders, thank you. Our community has grown, from the little crew who attended our boot camps to our first members, to all our CSP kids Families! The gym has evolved from an idea into reality with everyone from different walks of life coming together. We have built a culture that is inviting, supportive and FUN! This was shown through all 6 event of the CSP Games. Our little but fierce community took on the call and banded together which was awesome to watch! Personally, it has been awesome to meet and get to know you all. The experience of bringing this dream of ours to life has been like no other. Big things are coming in 2021 but we will always hold our core values strong! Hopefully we can grow together and make this place we call home outstanding!! 22.01.2022 TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: This is Week 2 of our Ring Muscle Up Technique. Last week we showed lots of drills for our Ring Muscle Up that focused on our Kipping Technique. Heres @tianafaheyleigh giving some Strict Muscle Up drills and progressions.... 1. Seated Banded Ring Transitions. This is a great way to learn the pathway of the rings without the hassle of worrying about carrying your own bodyweight. Place rings on long bands ( we recommend @sklzaustralia ) and practice transitioning through the dip position. The thicker the band, the harder the movement as there is more resistance. 2. Slow Eccentric Lowers from Support. This is practicing the descent from top to bottom and a nice way to focus on shapes without having to pull yourself up. The slower the better! 3. Full Banded Ring Transitions This handed drill is the opposite to the one above. The thicker the band the easier the drill becomes. We dont recommend doing this drill if you arent strong in your ring dip position, we recommend being able to hold the ring dip position for a minimum of 10 seconds without assistance before progressing from seated band transition to this drill. Theres no pretty way to get in and out of the band (see Tianas graceful exits ) so just go with it! 4. Unassisted Low Ring Transitions. Very challenging and a great way to acquire the transition without the pressure of going from a hang. This is the next step for those who are finding banded Ring transitions comfortable for 5+ reps with the lightest band (yellow). 5. Strict Chest to Ring Pull Ups. If you are unable to get your chest to the rings, transitioning will be incredibly difficult! Build up your pulling strength with this drill. You can ask a Coach or training buddy to assist you if you arent able to do it unassisted yet. 6. Strict Ring Muscle Up. A challenging Gymnastics Skill! False grip will help with the transition (see last weeks Technique Tuesday video for some false grip drills). We recommend being able to do 5 unassisted seated low ring transitions and then doing some assisted Muscle Ups with a CSP Coach before attempting these solo. Like all Skill Acquisition, practice perfection! #cspgym #cspfam

He accredits his achievements of playing First Grade for the Randwick Rugby Club in both 15’s and 7’s, allowing him to play internationally, beating the likes of the Scottish and Kenyan National sides.... 13.01.2022 Tumbling Tuesday with T! Torah has been working her standing back tucks and she can finally nail them without assistance... Coach T now jokingly uses her stron...gest finger for a little extra security... We have a feeling Torah will be performing this skill without the need of Coach Tiana standing there very soon! We like to make sure our athletes are 100% comfortable before asking them to execute a skill completely unassisted (including the coach standing away). This ensures they will nail their skill with full confidence and dont risk injury by pulling out mid way. As you can see, Coach T and Torah both know she can do it, she just needs a little more time to trust herself and Coach T wants her to be confident when she finally attacks the skill solo. Go Torah!
