24.01.2022 This weeks male profile player is our humble half, Chris Matthews. Chris is a man of few words and has been a great edition to the club over the years. He’s is always getting around events and training. Keep doing what you’re doing Chris!

23.01.2022 Next off the block is our Queen B, Patti Kendall. Patti has been playing for the club since 2017 and has made a noticeable difference in her time as President. Her long limbs can be seen running across the field, supporting from the side lines or standing on tables giving heart warming speeches. We’d be lost without her. Thank you for what you do!

23.01.2022 We’re so excited to announce we’ll be doing weekly meat raffles at The Victoria Starts 5pm, CSU Hockey Members will get there at 6pm to kick it off. Come support the club, join us for happy hour before Cheekies and get yourself some meat!

22.01.2022 First player back is our mate Mac Reith-Snare. This is Mac’s first year with the club after making the switch from Orange. Whilst we didn’t have any games, Mac daddy made his skills know at training. Mac is already a valued player amongst the men’s team. We hope to see the Mac daddy return next year.

21.01.2022 Charles Sturt University is continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation and is encouraging staff and students to practise social distancing. As a result, we... have decided to cancel all non-essential events, including club events, industry workshops and expos and social events. At this stage, sporting team training and competition can still proceed, although we encourage you to follow good hygiene processes and social distancing wherever possible. 20.01.2022 She was a bit windy but I couldn’t have asked for a better result from today! 41 people who put their names down, who weren’t already apart of the club. We’re stoked and so excited for this season. See you all at training tonight, 6pm Bathurst hockey fields!

08.01.2022 Our first player profile is the lovable Alec Ferguson. He’s a veteran of the club and you may have seen him roaming around towers during your time at uni. He was apart of the Men’s 2018 premiership team and was awarded volunteer of the year last year. What’s not to love, thank you for being apart of the club!

02.01.2022 Update on COVID-19 with CSU Panthers Hockey Club- As a Charles Sturt University Club, we are obliged to follow guidelines and policy’s that are being introduced as a result of COVID-19. So unfortunately, like all clubs across the University we are cancelling events until June. Bathurst Hockey Association has confirmed that games will be cancelled until the 2nd of May 2020. As much as we are saddened by this news, we have to put the health of our club and those around us fir...st. Hold tight as we will be back soon enough with some amazing events and games! Please don’t be disheartened by this news. We encourage everyone to continue to support businesses and clubs during this time. Including all of our sponsors and keeping in touch with one another. We will update you on any changes. But for now, we urge everyone to be sensible, wash your hands and take care of yourself during this time. 01.01.2022 Our first female player profile is our fitspo queen, Gabriel Hubbard. Despite only being with the club for a couple of weeks, she definitely made an impact. Her bubbly and enthusiastic personality is already cherished amongst her team mates.
