25.01.2022 Hi all. I'm trying to work out the best way for us to interact with each other. Do you thing we should make this a group instead of a page? I'm new at this so I'm open to ideas. let me know what you think in the comments.
22.01.2022 Hahaha! C’mon we’ve all been there
21.01.2022 Good morning! We'd like to thank you all for joining our page! We hope you use this page to help us build an online support network for parenting (or soon to be parenting) students so we can feel as much a part of University life at CSU as any other group. My name is Lisa and I'm a fourth year Social Work student on Port Macquarie Campus. I have five children all together, but only two at home, ages 11 and 13. I had twelve years as a single parent before I met and married my... wonderful husband, inherited 2 beautiful boys and we had the two youngest together. So we have a "his, mine and ours" family. I studied language and literature in the US (where I'm from) while single parenting my oldest daughter so I respect how much harder it can be for all you single parents. I have always been lucky to have a good support system which I could not survive without. I'm not going to lie, my life has had some major ups and downs, but at the moment we are on a bit of an up, so I have to enjoy that while it lasts. I'd love to hear where you all are at in your study/parenting/ life journey. Please introduce yourself if you wish. I hope we'll get to know each other better as time passes. All the best -Lisa See more

09.01.2022 Let’s do something for this on campus!! Maybe a sausage sizzle. What do you think?
04.01.2022 Hi guys! How are we travelling with our studies this semester? I sent my 13yo to school today with sniffles because I have an assessment to do. He won’t die, but I usually would have let him stay home. I guess me being a student will be good for the kids, but sometimes I feel guilty. I guess nothing worth doing is easy, but sometimes I wish it were.
