12.01.2022 The reading for Tuesday the 26th of May is... The Government Inspector When the locals in a small town in Russia learn that an undercover government inspector i...s coming for a surprise visit, an unfortunate case of mistaken identity send the village spiralling into a world of panic and greed. The Government Inspector is a classic Russian satire of provincial bureaucracy, a comedy of errors that satirises small-town political corruption and human greed. It is a story of deception and self-deception. Please message us if you wish to take part in the reading, it is a cast of 19. It will run at 7:30pm Tuesday.

01.01.2022 HAPPY WORLD THEATRE DAY! Theatre is my life. Theatre is the joy, the soul food, the music, the laughter, the reflection, the commentary and the lifeblood. Our w...orld's stages are dark now but our curtains will rise again. + This photo was taken during my final ever performance of GO YOUR OWN WAY: The Story of Christine McVie at CSU Riverina Playhouse in Wagga Wagga by Down brushwood road Photography. Go Your Own Way was commissioned by Adelaide Cabaret Festival in 2013. It was my first commission and performance in the Festival that is the largest, and greatest, of its kind in the world. Due to licensing restrictions placed upon me by Australian Governing Bodies, I am no longer allowed to play my beautiful show, the same show enjoyed by thousands of audience members around the world. It is my greatest wish that through the situation we currently find ourselves in due to COVID-19, we can press the RESET button on these licensing restrictions and find a NEW way forward with publishers, rights owners and APRA, allowing Australian Cabaret artists to present their shows again; the ones we have poured our hearts and souls into, the ones Festivals have commissioned us to create, the ones we have always paid royalties on, the ones who employ entire teams of musicians and production staff, the ones who fill theatre houses around the Country, and the ones we MAKE OUR LIVING FROM. It's time. We need to work together. #worldtheatreday
