04.01.2022 I know l have said this before but, l am truly blessed with the most awesome staff anyone could ask for...Yesterday when the news hit that we would need to close for 6 days we were all very shocked and quite upset..But just like every other time that something has happened that tests us as a team, things just went into motion naturally..l have been in business 30 yrs in March and the longest the shop has ever been closed is 2 days over Christmas, so l have to admit it hit me... like a ton of bricks, l felt sick in my stomach, this place is part of me it's part of who l am... Ricky suggested that maybe we could stay open later to help sell things that can't be kept until we re-open, l thought it was a great idea, and my amazing team just put up their hands to stay on the extra hours.There was absolutely no hesitations on anyones behalf, eventhough they had things they needed to do themselves, so stay open we did, until 11.30 and we all had a good night, eventhough we all knew we were going to wake up today and have to stay home. We had a few laughs and made the most of the time we had together.. So a massive sincere heartfelt Thank You to Rachel Penney, Rachel Stevens, Lisa Spaninks, Harry Willis, Travis Allwood, and Katie Smith who wasn't even rostered on yesterday, but was shopping and called us to see if any of us needed anything and then delivered it to us..You guys continue to amaze me with your dedication and your willingness to stand by me/my business through some of the toughest, roughest, and trying times any business can go through..We really are a fantastic team..
