21.01.2022 Dr Rebecca Mitchell was an Australian volunteer at the National Referral Hospital in 2017 where she helped write a standard treatment manual for obstetrics and ...gynaecology for Solomon Islands. She returned in 2019 with the help of the Australian Volunteers Program to launch the manual, and has now written an excellent guide for pregnant women during COVID-19. We are so proud of what can grow from the volunteers program! See more

As part of our efforts to help Solomon Islands get through these challenging times, Australia is... supporting Save the Children’s preparedness and response activities in the education sector with a SBD5.7 million grant. This will help 50 communities across Solomon Islands improve hand washing hygiene in schools and maintain children’s learning in 2020 and 2021. 03.01.2022 What a fun day out today as we all spent it with the students and staff of San Isidro School and also the reigning Miss Solomon Islands Gladys Habu during this ...Independence Day We were all touched and moved by all the students there as they all welcomed us with their warm hospitality as we all came together in playing Ice Breakers and other physical sports like soccer and volleyball. It was a bit of a challenge in communicating with them but we all managed to go through a smooth program today. So on behalf of the club we would all like to thank one of our fellow Rotarians Mr. Phil Bradford and the Principal of the school in inviting us today to carry out the program with the students and staff of San Isidro. Happy Independence and lukim u fala next year again
