11.01.2022 The hospitality industry is among the hardest hit from the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We applaud Willing Bros owner and THA board member Carl Windsor fo...r opening up about his own mental health struggles and the challenges of the pandemic has presented personally and professionally. We know Carl is not alone, with many industry members struggling as the restrictions on the industry take a toll mentally and financially with some venue owners and operators being forced to reconsider their ongoing viability, and essentially their livelihoods. The THA has launched a mental health resource via the website, gathering the most relevant mental health information and resources in one place. We are not the experts, but the resource does provide a platform where experts can be accessed and information can be sourced for anyone who is looking for help, or for anyone concerned about their friends or workmates. The THA will continue to support the entire industry through this extremely challenging time and we are looking at further ways we can develop meaningful resources focused on mental health.
