23.01.2022 Personal Progression is the element of the Scout Method that encourages each member of Scouts to embark on a learning journey focused on challenging the individual to do their best through a range of experiences! This looks different for everyone which is why our program is designed to create opportunities for each person to challenge themselves, whatever that looks like! How has Scouting challenged you to try something new? #ct_scouts

20.01.2022 Scouting has been around since 1908 thanks to a few key elements that make Scouting relevant no matter the decade! These elements form part of the Scout Method. Over the next few weeks we will look at each element of the Scout method, the first being Community Involvement. Through this element, we encourage active exploration of an individual’s commitment and responsibility to their community and the wider world! How do you like to get involved in your community? #ct_scouts

18.01.2022 Have you been best friends so long you don't remember which one is the bad influence? We're here to help. Please remember... Friends don’t let friends fe...ed animals. Also, don’t feed friends to animals. Maybe it’s time to see new people? However, feeding animals only leads to trouble with a capital T that stands for told you so. Friends don’t let friends stack rocks. Unless you're trying to recreate Stonehenge and enlighten humanity with ancient secrets, let's leave the rocks where they are. Friends don’t let friends get too close. We're talking about animals and cliffs. We guess you can be too close to a friend, but we really don’t have the energy to tackle that one. Friends don’t let friends litter. You know what really grinds our gears? Inconsiderate people littering. Friends don’t let friends take dangerous selfies! Keep safety in the picture. Watch your feet, be aware of your surroundings, and let’s go easy on the filters while we’re at it. Friends don’t let friends go off trail. Even if you have an argument with your friend, encourage them to stay on the marked trail as they dramatically storm off. Image: Hikers, possibly still friends, exploring the narrows at Zion National Park. #FindYourPark See more
