25.01.2022 Girls available - quick photos taken this afternoon of the gorgeous babies #2 red and tan #3 red #8 red

24.01.2022 The babies went to the vet today for their general health check, vaccination and microchip. Ebony, Lux, Mille, Marley, Koba and Peaches all passed their check with flying colours and nothing fazed any of them throughout the whole process. All sat or lay (or in Ebony’s case just went to sleep in the corner) on the table waiting patiently for their turn. Then all sat happily in the washing basket after their turn. ... Will miss of all of these puppies when they leave, except Ebony of course who is staying in the family with our son.

24.01.2022 The Australian Cattle Dog & Kelpie Club (Qld) Inc Currently waiving the joining fee - Single Membership $25; Family membership $30. Anyone with a kelpie or cattle dog is welcome to become a member - join other kelpie and cattle dog owners to share and learn about these incredible breeds. ... The next meeting is being held tomorrow night, so get your application form in tonight or tomorrow so the committee can approve your membership. You’ll then be able to join the brand new Members Only FB group to have access to and share further information about things like breed history, training, nutrition, health and all the great things people do with their dogs. You can get a copy of the application form in a link on the general FB page or the website. Just print, complete and sign. You can then email the form (either scanned or photo) to the Club Secretary - [email protected].

24.01.2022 Red and tan boy - sold

22.01.2022 Black and Tan female born 18 June 2020 Millie is the other Black and Tan girl with the lighter tan colouring. (Yes, I do have her name correct, I didn’t get it mixed up). She’s moved up to Samford and will be working cattle with her new mate Bella. She looks so tiny in the back of the Ute!

19.01.2022 Three of the baby red dogs out playing with the rough nut cattle dogs. They’re a bit wet after playing under the hose whilst helping to fill up the water buckets. These babies should be able to handle anything by the time they’re ready to leave home!

18.01.2022 Eight days old and going strong

18.01.2022 Here she is, King's Kelpie the matriarch of every Kelpie. This is a very rare photo. Her mother, Gleeson's Kelpie was known to have had rose ears, hence the sli...ght fold seen here. She tied with a working collie named Tweed in an historic trial at Forbes, New South Wales in 1879. It was that win that caused a great demand for her puppies which were initially known as Kelpie's Pups, then Kelpies. Please feel free to share.

17.01.2022 Five days old. Good strong, healthy pups. We put them with Mum on the straw but she keeps pushing the straw away and puts the babies on the floor of their pen. It looks cold but actually it’s lovely and warm.

17.01.2022 Solid black female born 18 June 2020 Ebony is one of the most chilled little girls I know but she still won’t put up with any rot from the other dogs. She’s hanging out here at home until she’s four months old when she’ll get to go out with the big dogs in October to see what this mustering gig is all about. She won’t get to do too much as yet until she’s older but she can soak up the atmosphere and get used to things.

11.01.2022 Solid red male born 18 June 2020 Lux has gone to live with his new family and his new mate Axel on a property over near Killarney. Took a day for the two pups to work each other out but now they’re best buds and the kids love them.

11.01.2022 Red and tan male born 18 June 2020 Koba is a very handsome young fella just like his big brothers. Another Cuballa poster boy. He’s now living down near Ballina and is getting very curious about his surroundings on the farm. Typical pup who loves people and people love him. I can see why. He has a great personality and was always right beside me from when he was very little.

09.01.2022 Bit of a laugh ... but that does look a little familiar. People worry about the cattle dogs (and rightly so) but there are also a couple of kelpies here that you shouldn’t take your eyes off. No good trying to sneak in here.

07.01.2022 Three weeks old now and getting up and about a couple of days ago. Letting us all know that they exist with their little barks and growls.

05.01.2022 This is another of Gidgee’s handsome boys ... Anzac. He lives on a property in SA and is a beautiful dog totally loved by his family. He’s loyal and doesn’t like being away from his owner’s side, is listening, learning and being good with stock. Anzac was the star in my favourite video that I put up here when he was little. Gorgeous puppy with the great sit at the end.

03.01.2022 Happy 1st birthday!! Layla, Bear, Jack, Anzac, Rosie and Frank Frank will be having a cruisey day at home today hanging out in his favourite spot gnawing on old bones or any of the puppy’s toys that he finds around the place. ... If you have some time, we’d love to see what these guys got up to on their birthday.

03.01.2022 Just while I’m at it ... we have some photos of Anzac who lives down in SA. I love this boy so I just thought I’d let you see how he’s growing up. Anzac and his litter will be turning one next week. Time sure flies.

02.01.2022 Red and tan female born 18 June 2020 Marley has gone to live with her lovely new owner and a couple of Daschunds out near St George. It took a bit for her to work out what the funny little dogs were but she sorted it out pretty quickly.

02.01.2022 Black and Tan female born 18 June 2020 Millie is the Black and Tan with the darker tan which is almost gold. She’s a gorgeous girl who has gone to live up near Kingaroy and is hopefully going to prove she’s handy with the cattle when she gets bigger. She’s hanging out with her new mates in the meantime and getting a feel for things.

Do you know of someone who could give Dobby a good home? Male, four months old...
