24.01.2022 I will post this on some other sites as well as my own personal page. I have noticed a LOT of people asking about fireworks for heralding in the New Year and from what I have seen, the ONLY fireworks that will be proceeding will be in the City of Melbourne because of the total fire ban throughout most of the state of Victoria. If I hear any fireworks going off anywhere near me, I will not hesitate in calling the appropriate authorities (Police) as I have a very low tolerance ...to stupidity. Everyone needs to stop asking IF there are any fireworks tonight, I believe the correct answer is a resounding NO !!

24.01.2022 Well, something amazing happened today and I am quite stoked. I woke up early this morning with the intention of checking my emails as they arrived in my inbox and just after 0700, as regular as clockwork, my Job Alerts started arriving as they normally do. I started browsing through them to see if there were any positions I could apply for and I saw one that took my fancy at an Italian themed restaurant about a half-hour's drive from where I live.... I fired off my resume and about an hour later I received a 'phone call from Anna asking me to go in for a trial and interview all rolled into one session, that is how it is in hospitality, I have seen people who have said they deserve three Michelin stars and they couldn't boil an egg properly. So we chatted for a few minutes, here comes the amazing bit, and I asked if their venue had a Facebook presence and Anna confirmed that they did, I mentioned that Cucina Toscana was the name of my now failed business, wait for it .........................Anna said that she had heard of it from some of her customers, and Anna was speaking from a place in Warrandyte.
