25.01.2022 If you have no plans on Sunday head down and watch the seniors take on Raiders. It’s always a great day out for the whole family!
24.01.2022 The Cudgen Headland Junior AGM was held on Monday, 12th October 2020 which formalised our executive committee for the 2021 Season. We would like to take the opportunity to thank the u13 to u16s players and parents for attending our development session. We hope that you took something away from the session of Trent Southworth at Team Safeguard. Also to our Mini and Mod players and families thank you for joining us on a perfect Sunny Sunday afternoon. It was a great session!... Our executive committee will remain unchanged for 2021; President - Sam Prichard Vice-Presidents - Sean Alcorn and Brad Smith Treasurer - Joanne Weaver Registrar - Tiarny Prichard (for the record not Sam’s wife ) Secretary - Peta Thierjung We look forward to Season 2021 with our players and families.
23.01.2022 Our weekend wrap up brought to you by Earth Pantry - Kingscliff. Thanks again for your support and rewarding our kids each weekend. U6 Green: Great last game by our under 6 green. Every player seemed to be full of energy for the last game with great individual tries and an awesome enthusiastic defensive line. I was able to stand back and let them play without too much instruction which is a great sign leading into under 7s next year. Player of the match was Loui F who was ev...Continue reading
21.01.2022 EDITED FOR CLARIFICATION we have been restricted to 500 spectators all season at grounds. This restriction will still be in place on Saturday at the Grand Fina...l. This is a NSW Dept of Sport guideline that we need to follow and regardless of wether there is any cases here or not we have to abide by it. The one parent where practical has been our message all season. The point of this post is to ask people to be considerate of others. We will be able to have approx 100 spectators per team at the field at once. Rather than staying all day we ask that those whose kids have played leave the ground so that every child gets to have their parents watch them play. The NSWRL protocols are guidelines for all groups and clubs to follow. Many of those groups are much larger than ours and will be restricted to the one parent per player. Be grateful we live where we do and mindful that all our helpers in the day are volunteers. The code of conduct will be in place. Any one who abuses anybody will be escorted from the ground and may face further disciplinary action. I apologise that the post was unclear. I just assumed everyone knew the 500 people restriction and would focus on the other protocols Please see attached NSWRL Grand Final protocols and message from the group regarding this Saturday’s grand final at @southtweedjrl
21.01.2022 All the best to Will Batchelor with 2 granfinal appointments this weekend and has been awarded Touch Judge of the Year for Group 18.

19.01.2022 Season 2021 - FAO’s. Have you considered being an FAO? FAO’s are only required on home games (maybe some trainings) and we need more in our club. You get to be on the sidelines watching the games too! Please email your interest to [email protected]

YTG It’s also a great time to reflect & celebrate the fact we fielded our first girls team in 2020 ... Y E A H T H E G I R L S

18.01.2022 We would love to hear your thoughts on the 2020 season. Whilst it was a crazy year we still managed to get a competition completed and we would love some feedback on how we can do better in 2021. This survey is nice and short and will only take a minute or 2 so please provide us with your feedback. https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdx_Aq1uVagPF9Ry/viewform

18.01.2022 A great example of sportsmanship and mateship for our kids from the NRL last night. One is hurting and one is elated, but they put that aside to have a chat after the game and make time for each other. Whilst it’s healthy to have a competitive nature, the opposition does not need to be the enemy and can in fact be our friend.... Our team of the year, U15 Colts Hornets also showed us that this year.
