21.01.2022 Current mood: give me alllll the fruit For some reason, this past week I was struck with a random craving for fresh fruit! Specifically, mandarins and oranges . Possibly my body asking for more vitamin C since I was sick?! Who really knows, but either way I’ve been buying more fruit than usual + focusing on upping that vitamin C Aside from citrus, one of my go-tos is kiwi since it’s quite low in sugar + high in vitamin C one of the most underrated fruits imo! Anyways hope you’re al having a wonderful Wednesday Amy x

20.01.2022 It’s a busy day today trying to get somewhat organised and tie up loose ends before we head off in a few days Buuut managed to squeeze in a workout earlier this morning which always gives me a little sense of accomplishment and some momentum to tackle my to-do list For now enjoying an early lunch, in my bowl: paprika chicken, avocado, quinoa, tomato, parsley + salad greens

15.01.2022 Catching some rays Feels like ages since I’ve posted here on the gram! Incase you missed it, a few weeks ago Nik and I moved place... and things have been feeling a little topsy turvey ever since Luckily I’m feeling more settled this week, and getting back on top of some things before we head off to Bali next week . 13.01.2022 Virgo season vibes I don’t know about you guys, but so far for me this month has been all about organisation, planning, putting pen to paper and lists lists lists . If you’re feeling similar or overwhelmed here’s my tip: do a massive brain dump onto paper of *every little thing* you need to do. And I mean Every. Little. Thing. Yep, that includes cleaning the inside of your car (I always put that one off ). . Seeing it all on paper takes a massive weight off and for me helps to eliminate that overhanging, uneasy feeling of *i feel like there’s something I’m supposed to be doing but what is it ahhhh* Once it’s all on paper, schedule it in and start getting to work one thing at a time, simple! Amy x

11.01.2022 Just a few of my favourite things Black coffee + @loving_earth salted caramel chocolate and a moment of peace before I start tackling my to-do list . On a side note, have noticed my tolerance for coffee has been SO much better these days! Super interesting, given that over a year ago I couldn’t even have one cup without getting the shakes, chest tightness + basically feeling ALL the anxiety. At that time I was already stressed and anxious, and adding caffeine to the mi...x was just the final straw for my poor adrenals and nervous system All that said, I’m super grateful to enjoy coffee again (I just love the taste!) but I do still try to be mindful around my coffee habit! . For me, that basically means: Only 1-2 cups a day No coffee after 1pm Ordering only single shots from cafes (didn’t realise for ages my barista was spiking my coffee with a double shot when I upsized, duh ) . 09.01.2022 Lunch with alllll of the colours Today’s salad bowl included salad greens, chicken, beetroot, tomato, leftover pumpkin from last nights dinner + 1/4 avocado Topped with salt and pepper A drizzle of balsamic would have also been perfect (but as I learned, we’re out ) or even some goats cheese (if you’re into that!). 07.01.2022 Busy bee If you’re wondering what my days consist of as a new mum, it’s pretty much chasing after this guy 24/7 he couldn’t even stay remotely still for a photo! Life is feeling more settled in the new house though and we are feeling very lucky and blessed. I’m about to makeover Gabe’s room with some Montessori inspired additions, so if you’re interested stay tuned for a YouTube video coming soon

04.01.2022 The quest for the perfect gluten free, dairy free cookie continues If you caught our stories last night, you’ll know I’ve been trying my hand at some baking! . I’ll admit that I’m not the best baker, but these cookies didn’t turn out half bad! Super soft on the inside but unfortunately still missing that signature chewiness that I’m after My baking friends, let me know your fave go-to GF DF cookie recipe!

04.01.2022 Aaaand the bibimbap obsession continues Whipped up this big bowl of deliciousness yesterday for lunch and it seriously hit the spot! . In my bowl: quinoa, shredded zucchini, cucumber, sautéed mushrooms with coconut aminos, organic herbed chicken, an egg, shallots + sesame seeds Also, I really have no idea if this technically qualifies as bibimbap... but that’s what we’re going with for now Hope you’re all having a great week! 04.01.2022 LUNCH Probably not the prettiest pic for the gram, but This salad has quickly become my fave - a classic mix of roasts pumpkin, pine nuts, spinach and goats cheese Paired it with some bone-in, tinned salmon because #calcium and #omega3 aaand added a seed cracker because I’ve been obsessed these past few days (talked about the ones we like in stories this morning!). . There’s also a recipe for seed crackers on our blog if you want to give it a try! Super similar but I think I’m going to try playing with/ adjusting the recipe . Anyways hope we’re all having a great week! Christmas is nearly here Amy x

03.01.2022 Sunday’s not looking too bad Getting stuck into some chores around the house (grocery shopping done fridge clean out done ) and feeling a little more organised! We also made a paleo version of bibimbap for lunch today, and let me tell you it was gooooood . In my bowl: quinoa cooked in bone broth as a base, topped with spiralised carrot, cucumber, leftover beef mince, bok choy, mushrooms sautéed in coconut aminos, egg + shallots Amy x

01.01.2022 H o m e Back home from Bali and getting back to it! We had such a great time while away - though probably enjoyed a few too many cocktails tbh #sorrynotsorry But in all seriousness it was so nice to take some time away + step back from my regular routine! Don’t get me wrong, I am SUCH a creature of habit but one thing that I love about travel is that it forces you to shake things up a bit! .
