15.01.2022 Yesterday, under the beautiful summery sunshine, we soft-launched phase 2 of our food relief efforts: a market-style foodbank! With our partners @ya...rralibraries and @cultivatingcommunity we invited our food parcel recipients to visit in-person (finally!!) where they could collect fresh and frozen food (including food donations from @ozharvest and @foodbankaus and meals from @stmaryshouseofwelcome ) and free books. At the end of day one, we’d given around 118 bags of food to 110 people- incredible! We’ll be running this initiative for the next few Fridays, before we break over the new year (We’ll be back in mid-Jan though!). If you or anyone you know is needing food relief, come down to our Fitzroy HQ (125 Napier St) between 12.30-2.30pm on the 4th, 11th and 18th December. See you there! See more
