24.01.2022 Today is World Indigenous Peoples Day, 9th August 2020. To us, this day is about acknowledging our ancestors, through their guidance and wisdom. It is also about acknowledging our children, the next generation. What kind of world we will be handing over to them? They are the future, and they are our present. We walk together. We also acknowledge the ancient culture and knowledge held in-country, in the earth and seas, and if we listen, it teaches us every day. ... So we invite you to take a moment to learn who the Indigenous peoples and traditional country of the region where you live. We would love to know in the comments below

23.01.2022 ***Episode 6: New Year, New Ways In episode six, we are welcoming in the new year of 2021. We are reflecting on the lessons we may have received in 2020 and looking forward to what we choose to create for ourselves as we enter a brand new year. We're talking about setting goals, calling our visions into reality, and not just in the form of New Year's resolutions, but for each and every day. We reflect on the wisdom shared by guests in previous episodes such as reflecting on 2...020 as if it were a seed. And if that was the case, then what does that mean for you? And maybe sometimes, we over plan and we actually just need to take the leap and do it now. When we plan, we must then take action. This is how we commit to ourselves. I've got some questions for you to consider and to workshop and to identify how they relate to you and bringing your dreams into reality. 21.01.2022 54 years ago, August 23rd 1966, Vincent Lingiari and 200 men and women were walking-off Wave Hill Cattle Station. A powerful time in history. Time to listen to this story and feel the powerful lessons within. Honouring those who have walked before us and the paths they have paved. There is still more work to be done, walking protected.

16.01.2022 Always Was, Always Will Be. Always Was, Always Will Be. recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. We are spiritually and culturally connected to this country.... This country was criss-crossed by generations of brilliant Nations. ... NAIDOC Week 2020 acknowledges and celebrates that our nation’s story didn’t begin with documented European contact whether in 1770 or 1606 - with the arrival of the Dutch on the western coast of the Cape York Peninsula. The very first footprints on this continent were those belonging to First Nations peoples. ... NAIDOC 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country a history which dates back thousands of generations. It’s about seeing, hearing and learning the First Nations’ 65,000+ year history of this country - which is Australian history. We want all Australians to celebrate that we have the oldest continuing cultures on the planet and to recognise that our sovereignty was never ceded. Always Was, Always Will Be. 07.01.2022 We stand on the shoulders of our ancestors, our mentors, those before us and walk with those along side us. We hand over to our youth, our next generations, our future. Honouring the power, wisdom and strength of Vincent Lingiari and the 200 men and women that walked off Wave Hill Cattle Station 54 years ago today. May we see, hear and learn from your teachings. It takes one to stand up and make a difference, and when we come together anything is possible.

06.01.2022 With a heavy heart, we honour our sister and mentor Gigari George. Her leadership style inspired many. Strong and direct, yet with compassion and intelligence. She achieved so much and her impact was great. One of her greatest lessons and legacies has been about integrity. Staying true to your values, critically digging deeper into the projects being presented. Peeling back the layers and finding the transparency of what’s really being put on the table. Having the courage and... wisdom to call it out when it doesn’t reflect what’s being asked for on ground, and doesn’t align with community aspirations. ...in the end what matters most is whose hands are on the steering wheel. Thank you for being you, your presence is missed, your legacy lives on x
