Today marks the start of NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week. This years theme Always Was, Always Will Be recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. 04.01.2022 This Friday the 5th February is the first meet of 2021. It will be at 5.00pm as usual. It is a training week just to get back into routine. We need to mark the track as well. We need to also rake the long jump pit and mark the throwing sectors for discus and shot put. If we do it this Saturday afternoon. we will have a BBQ and a few sherbets afterwards. Viv and Suzie White have already volunteered so if we could get a couple of extras it would be appreciated.
